  • Complete the Reversible Cotton Theory Jacket and use the remaining quilted pieces for a tote bag. Again using the Quilt First-Then Assemble method, Nancy Zieman and guest Betty Cotton demonstrate finishing techniques for completing the reversible jacket. Use the same highway and one-way seams to create a matching tote bag.

Is there a video that can show how to do the cotton theory method for quilt blocks …. I found 30 half way done quilt blocks using, what I think is this method, at an estate sale and would love to find the book that teaches how to make and finish the blocks. This person, obviously, was an expert quilter and I would be tickled pink to be able to finish this project. Thank you …

Are you able to demonstrate cotton theory in a quilt block? The block I saw seemed to be “quilt as you go” and had French seams on top. I can’t figure it out.
