Joey is doing nothing else than messin' up Korn's sound totally, Korn is heavy, not fast. Good musicians adapts to other styles and influences, and they keep tempo... Miss the old Korn, probably the best quintet ever on this earth!
I agree with xXxStayxSicxXx the bassist "fieldy" is so unique and awesome. From (202) in this vid is my fav part, is the way how fieldy plays that bass :) rock on!!!
Wow... I understand Munky that he thought Joey was speeding it up to much... (he said in a interview at Creepy Noice Radio - when he was drunk after his 40th birthday) that he was getting a lil' angry coz of his overspeed. And this song especially his hard to play on overspeed :P especially the beginning
know what has changed from the old korn? not that Head left (of course that's a factor) not that the last album wasn't with David but the thing is that jonathan doesn't feel the songs as he did back in the day. he used to CRY on the stage.I still like KoRn. :)
I think it's because of Joey, since he is so used to drumming fast, they might have thought that it would be best for him if they all played fast. That's why in Evolution, they played at normal speed, because Joey was there when they recorded it. It's just a thought
i think they would love to speed up their songs to get their fans to hear more songs and then go listen to some other bands that are at rock am. Also they are on a time limit with so many bands performing. Just some ideas why they are playing faster. (dont dislike the faster versions)
They have started to go down with "Follow the leader"...I think i can say i've seen em' on stage at their best,4 the "life is peachy" tour.Wit' Bizkit openin 4 em',when no one knew who da fuck they wuz(their first album wuznt even out!)...Oh well,at least,KoRn kept their so fckn special sound...
it's because when you play live the adraline pumps! and then you play faster. I'm a musician and I know! and many famed musicians say you can't get used to play live. and the adreline pumps every time. :) there you go. and Korn always plays faster live. this is no exeption.
Yeah I saw something like that in an interview. Makes sense too. I am a little confused with this video..Why am i seeing 2 drummers, and a keyboardist?
Kalen chase, yea ik hes annoying but there are some songs that he performs well in. Imo his best performence was when he backed up Thougtless Unplugged idk why, i really liked
whos that guy playin the piano at the end?? and that guy in the blonde wig with a pink eye mask that is showed singing every now and then for like 1-2 seconds?? KORN!!! \,,/
Plus I think it them playing that fast at Rock am Ring 2007 is because they played alot of songs compared to other years there. They never play shit from all there albums like this just look at 2009 performance
This is one of my favorite KoRn songs!
KORN 4 LIFE
Yeah dude, I miss those guys.. Korn used to be my fav band back in the day
koRn forever,head or not,david or not,they have always been here,and always will.

Joey wants to go home soon :D
Yeah! koRn is the best in the universe

Yea. Right. That's why Korn's single off their new CD is #8 on the billboards.

Joey is doing nothing else than messin' up Korn's sound totally, Korn is heavy, not fast. Good musicians adapts to other styles and influences, and they keep tempo... Miss the old Korn, probably the best quintet ever on this earth!

This sounds way better than the original album one in my opinion.
Jonathan's voice sounds EPIC as Fuck in this.

Love it
Run Fieldy run!!
sick !
That's what I want to know too!
bien me encanta korn
@YeahChonas:
It's the ending of the oomph! vs. such a surge remix of good god.
yeah dude you're so right. :)
The song is great at that speed, it's time to change a bit after 10 years playing that song.
I've been there ... :)
@Zion027 when i went to a korn concert they gave him a nice little spot in the back right of the stage, fans need the 3 originals up front xD
I agree with xXxStayxSicxXx the bassist "fieldy" is so unique and awesome. From (202) in this vid is my fav part, is the way how fieldy plays that bass :) rock on!!!
@xXxStayxSicxXx Fully agree with you on that one, the bassist really is unique
Korn is now sober. According to the Fieldy Books.
this song is fucking tremendous
Wow... I understand Munky that he thought Joey was speeding it up to much... (he said in a interview at Creepy Noice Radio - when he was drunk after his 40th birthday) that he was getting a lil' angry coz of his overspeed.

Good god I love the bass solo :Dh
Aww, Adorable @ 1:17
i think Rock am Ring 2007 was great for Korn and this song (Good God) was always a bit faster than the rest of there songs
amen korn NEEDS david and head for that old school sound
know what has changed from the old korn? not that Head left (of course that's a factor) not that the last album wasn't with David but the thing is that jonathan doesn't feel the songs as he did back in the day. he used to CRY on the stage.I still like KoRn. :)
Look at fieldy slapping the shit out of his bass! fucking insane!
What the fuck!!!!!!!! The Best!!!!!!!!
lol damnn joey goes like train
If you get the "Live on the Other Side" dvd he cries during the performance of Dirty.
Lol, kinda funny seeing Fieldy running to stand next to Munky, then jogging all the way back to the otherside of the stage.
I think it's because of Joey, since he is so used to drumming fast, they might have thought that it would be best for him if they all played fast. That's why in Evolution, they played at normal speed, because Joey was there when they recorded it. It's just a thought
agreed

@Zion027 There is one, but cameras rarely show him.
They have started to go down with "Follow the leader"...I think i can say i've seen em' on stage at their best,4 the "life is peachy" tour.Wit' Bizkit openin 4 em',when no one knew who da fuck they wuz(their first album wuznt even out!)...Oh well,at least,KoRn kept their so fckn special sound...
yup...like the slapping..

0:42 SLIPKNOT!
@nachtfurzer1 the song is being played at the correct tempo.
he left korn, no idea why :s
And that sux !!!
NOOOW! its fuckin insane!
Yeah i agree with you that joey makes them play alot faster I was just saying this was always one of there faster songs anyway.
@Nosniak lol bass in korn is really light? What Korn are you listening to?
Man Fieldy RoxXx at this song :D:D
Yeah I saw something like that in an interview. Makes sense too. I am a little confused with this video..Why am i seeing 2 drummers, and a keyboardist?
Kalen chase, yea ik hes annoying but there are some songs that he performs well in. Imo his best performence was when he backed up Thougtless Unplugged idk why, i really liked
korn rulsssss
@smellslikevin
i think its kalen chase
whos that guy playin the piano at the end?? and that guy in the blonde wig with a pink eye mask that is showed singing every now and then for like 1-2 seconds??
KORN!!! \,,/
who's the 2nd vocalist? looked like angela gossow....?
Plus I think it them playing that fast at Rock am Ring 2007 is because they played alot of songs compared to other years there. They never play shit from all there albums like this just look at 2009 performance
in the entire concert is joey in the drums?
@sicmagg0t it is
The beginning sounds very similar to Pantera's "Becoming"
I know
It's JD . He plays very fast
WHY SO FAST? =O
munky sounds awesome in this KORN FOREVER!!!
@Alex7457 of course is just my opinion, peace bro
who is the blond singer???
NOOOOOOOWWWWWWW
@TheTrinirocker
C'est clair Too fast !!! ^^
i prefer to listen to the family values 99 version of this its the illest
ЯЯЯЯЯЯ
@chikineader it takes a lot to replace david sylveria
@xXxStayxSicxXx you meen fieldy lol
well i know what is it about. what do u mean?
He's not "too fast" really, he's just used to playing faster music than what they play. I'm sure Munky could play slipknot guitar if he really had to.
@nachtfurzer1 i love and support Joey....but i agree with you sir
Joey is way too fast
bassist you mean
whos the blond guy
why 2 drummers?
Joey is fucking up korn songs.
oh ok...r they from any band?? or just some dudes that korn knows..
i wonder how need to wound sound with joey
whos joey?^^
Joey is awesome but I really did dig David's style. Joey hasn't the same groove in his playing.
