GREAT reaction. :) Catherine Tates "Lauren" character when 1st aired the "Lauren" catchphrase "Am I Bovvered" (bothered), thousands in tthe UK started saying it in conversation...lol. :) Her In denial gay character "Derek" is great too. Also other great UK comedians like Frankie Boyle, Peter Kay, Lee Evans, and comedy panel shows like Mock The Week, and 8 out of 10 cats does Countdown are getting some great reactions in the USA. :)

Great reaction. Everyone I know, says that they have a relation like Nan. For me is was my nan's sister. She even spoke like Catherine Tate's nan. Her character Derek is a good one to watch too

We need more nans, my mum was one, i was never comfortable when I was interpreting my mums world, it never got easier, and I guess I miss her.
She has a point about the doctors, though. I'll be sitting in the waiting room, half dead, forever while the healthiest people in the world spend like half an hour of their 10 minute appointment with the doctor.
Remember this is on mainstream TV, the BBC, the equivalent of ABC or NBC

I forget what the exchange rate was at the time, but I think £1 used to be around $1.5 - $2 (American)... Something like that... So £50 would probably be around $75 to $100... I'm not sure if that's still the case or not.
