    Today I'm in Bulgaria on my quest to try all the fast foods around the world. Compared to the U.S. fast food companies have completely different menu items and quality ingredients. So lets see what Bulgaria has to offer

    American fast food chains tend to always be better outside of the US due to the quality of ingredients being much better.

    Oh, also another thing, if you're still in Bulgaria, try getting a burger from Happy, it's a Bulgarian restaurant chain that's started in Varna(They have actually started branching internationally now) and they sell all sorts of food, but they also sell burgers. AND OH MAN ARE THE BURGERS GOOD. In the video you mentioned Fries, yeah they got you covered because with your burgers you also get fries that are SEASONED not just SALTED and it's fucking amazing, they used to do just normal fries until like half a year ago but ever since they started seasoning them, I'm literally wiping my plate clean, lol, if you're no longer in Bulgaria there are restaurants in London and Barcelona.

      no.. just no, happy is pure shit. if you want good burger go to skapto and don't eat anything from happy.

    • @Ne0LiT
      @Ne0LiT 3 місяці тому

      @@momchilmarinov7815 Skapto is in Sofia only. Happy isn't. If we're gonna be mentioning just local places and not chains, then there are a lot more options. But for foreigners, I'd suggest trying out Happy and traditional restaurants(mehana). But yeah, nothing wrong with trying out some of the best local fast-food places if that's what you're going for.

      first of all it's not just in Sofia and secondly it's better not to promote ТИМаджииски shit.

    • @happyhealthyholisticlife
      @happyhealthyholisticlife 3 місяці тому

      Please stop promoting shitty Happy to anyone. Locals who know good food don't go there and foreigners won't have a good taste of Bulgarian (or any) cuisine. If you've seen Kara and Nate's video in Bulgaria they were sent there by someone at the airport and Nate's first reaction was on point "it's disturbing to have that many things on the menu"

    Oh no! The dreaded sugarless lemon cola that tastes like a cheaper version of Pepsi Twist! I'm actually surprised you like that one :D I believe the Bulgarian exclusives are pretty much the same across Europe? I might be wrong though.

    8:13 The reason there was no sauce is because you have to pay for every single packet of sauce and have to tell the employee/select it on the kiosk. This is the case all throughout Europe btw. I think the US (and perhaps Canada) are the only countries where fast food chains give you sauces for free and have free refills for drinks.

    McChicken used to be my favorite McDonalds ... However I than began to eat Big Tasty in there because a schoolmate/friend many years ago while "camping" @ the seaside with him, underlined me that Big Tasty is the most Calories per Unit of Money in their entire menu... (Even if ordered as a menu itself... a bit Big Tasty Menu)... However ... it used to be 5 Euros, the Big Menu, now it`s like 7.5 Euros... that is like 50% increase in price over ~10 or so years (or a bit more but nvm)... I Also do like the chicken nuggets, but they are probably the least food per unit of money... I also like their Apple Pie (the way it`s super fried and crispy on the outside and the totally cool apple transparent jelly with pieces and canella. Their Shakes are also kind of ok, now that I think about it... But back on the topic of chicken nuggets... I recently started purchasing those also pricy but super good fried chicken fillets from this world wide unknown place right next to one of the local McDonalds in the town I live in... and I am telling you KFC can suck it... Maybe there is another local chain that 1 out of few times can match that random no name (for world standards) place, but for a lot higher price, because they are fancy place to sit and hang when wealthy with other wealthy people, and not get bunch of fried chicken bites to eat on the go while working...
    P.S. That comment is on paused 4.05 so hopefully nothing else till the end of the video inspires me to write other stuffs, when I already did.

    Any hot food is better than cold keep that on mind when consuming your items somewhere else and you have travel to there is take a time . Example If you eat a steak 5 or 10 minutes after the serving the taste will change in my opinion. Thank you

    I'm Bulgarian and I've been to the US once. Obviously I had to try fast food, because USA... but I quickly found out that European Mcdonalds is way better than American Mcdonalds.
    It's gotta be the ingredients and EU policies about what goes in said burgers. But fast food aside, something you Americans do a lot better than us in Europe - barbecue beef!
    You know how to grill up a kickass steak! Seriously, you can't get that sort of beef variety in Bulgaria, or anywhere else in Europe. Various steaks, cuts, different smoking options, dry and wet aging, seasoning, pulled beef, etc... It was fantastic!
    Getting a Mustang as a rental car was also fantastic. Can't get any more American than driving in Nevada, in a Mustang, blasting rock and roll and staring off into that straight road that seems like it goes on forever with a smile on your face.
    If the EU starts falling apart, I'mma move to the US. I have German citizenship, so getting a visa will be easier. I hope it doesn't come to that. I like Europe... but if I don't have good options here, the land of opportunity is always there, across the pond.

    It seems like the breaded chicken patties let you down, but other wise ok. You down rated the Happy meal burger because it was lukewarm, but you ate it last, so... lukewarm wasn't the restaurant's fault. Weird taste test.

    Bulgarian McDonald’s is possibly the worst McDonald’s in the world. The lack of diversity is the worst part. Also I like (sarcasm) how you describe the taste of your meal as in its vastly different from American McDonald’s. FYI products aren’t any fresher over there or mostly anywhere else in the world. That donut probably sat there for like a 2 weeks to a month before you bought. The chicken wings are the only exceptionally nice thing, even though they’re most likely frozen and there’s a lot of better wings out there. American McDonald’s will always be S tier
