Thanks……. A Rare Classic indeed. Admittedly, liked the 57 FORD E, F Codes , CHEVY FUELIES initially ( as a Kiddo IN LATE 59’s, seeing a few esp. in BLACK Or REDS): never seeing **any early CHRYSLER LETTER ….by High School (1965/GRAD) theChryslers were in Our CAR ENTHUSIASTIC, & Garage . Anyways, great Work &* History….ps:: a lot of Dealer **Work ,Options, add ons , special Order stuff ; is great!!
I wonder what its factory spec 0-60 time is; also: how does the A/C work? Does it do the job? My dad had a '63 Olds with factory A/C. It worked, but was at times problematic. It cooled the car, but on really really hot days (95 degrees or hotter) it struggled to keep the interior comfy. Thanks....and by the way...your car is really really nice! Congratulations!
Thanks, great Questions…Did YOU, are you getting answers?? Super Mopar……our 1959 CORONET 9Pass Wagon // loaded (* exc AIR COND has similar MOPAR heritage#, etc) .I had to use it a lot in 1961-2 first getting License Drive…..😂😂😢
That engine had modifications from the factory...race cam, etc. The owner's manual informed folks that the engine would sound kinda loud, a little bit lumpy, because the idle speed had to be set up higher than most v8 cars. Considering the fairly weak brakes, suspension, etc...I would think that pushing these sled rockets to their limits would be very challenging!
375 HP? No... More like 430 to 450. 375 was claimed due to high insurance for the truth. Full race cam? No. More aggressive than stock though. Dealer installed factory air... Great car. I've had a few of the greats but I knew just about everything about them. You might be an enthusiast if...

Two doors rule The new charger would look so much better as a 2 door
The 50s was a time for engineers to go all out . New cars are so plain the other guy is copying the next guy . Not this car
