The last time I was here was 1991. Stayed in what was called The Sky Suite. I remember waking up in the morning and seeing workman walking past the window. Lol It was such an amazing unique experience staying there. Wish I could go back and visit again. ❤

I watched a documentary on Arcosanti as a child, maybe six or seven years after they’d begun construction … and I was so excited to live in a city like it!! That project made a deep, positive impression on me. Hopefully, before I die, I’ll still find someplace like it. Or maybe there’s still time to gather my friends and build our own!!

I spent 6 months there as a architecture student. Brilliant place. My advice would be to go check it out, they are always looking for people!

Awesome footage. Sad that modern architecture turned into this sum of ugly spaces without order or aestethics. You can't really see a 'structure', it's just an amount of square boxes united in unusual ways. No color schematics, no hierarchy.
The 60's revolutions really messed up the mind of architects...
