Oh man, if somebody made a meme with Nigel and Patrick Swayze that would be so fun! She made it look so easy, so many years of practice. Kind of like you make bonsai look easy. Way to do something totally different for you but so important to bonsai. I love how you show videos of all your bonsai related stuff. It was great to see you sharpen your cutters. It really makes me think that these videos influence people to try things on their own. Think about it, you probably just turned someone into a pottery expert just by influencing them to try! Thanks!

Throwing is such a tactile skill; it is really hard to describe in words how to do something. I am itching to get to a wheel and have a go!!! A wonderful first try, Nigel!
Thank you Tom, I've been a high school art teacher for 13 years, classes of 27 students at the time. When we had clay unit, it was wild. It's a different experience to teach 1 person at the time and someone with as much focus like Nigel. It feels good to be able to give my full attention to a person

Hey Nigel! Glad you’re feeling better! Quick question, with the greenhouse and improvements of the plant room, will you revisit the 2 dish setup for the willows? I’ve had mines plus some cypress trees (hoping for buttress roots!) in the 2 dish setup for 3 yrs now. No issues in the warmer climate I’m in, maybe with the greenhouse/plant room you will have success!!
