I managed to pick one of these up, it did work but sounded quite flat so I did some checks and found quite afew bad capacitors. It still had most of the original ELNA caps which I replaced with what I had. I was quite surprised at how much better it sounded but it still has some interference from the phono amp putting noise into the circuits which I will get round to doing. Overall its not hugely powerful but seems to have quite a nice sound.
Hi, ive got same amp in the hand . Every thing looking great but right channels both sounding distorted. I tested most of the caps and changed the one been leaking but still no luck getting it fixed . Any tips how to pinpoint the problem?
I have not measured both channels simultaneously, I should buy second load resistor to do that. Maybe later... I think it's somewhere 20 watts per channel.
