Hey everybody! Todays adventure we are headed to the filming locations of one of my favorite movies! The fast and the furious! This is a long video! It took a lot of time to make and edit so I hope everyone enjoys! Like subscribe comment and share!
The Fast and the Furious is a 2001 action film directed by Rob Cohen from a screenplay by Gary Scott Thompson, Erik Bergquist, and David Ayer, based on the Vibe magazine article "Racer X" by Ken Li. The first installment in the Fast & Furious franchise, it stars Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Rick Yune, Chad Lindberg, Johnny Strong, and Ted Levine. In the film, Brian O'Conner (Walker), an LAPD officer, goes undercover in the street racing world to investigate a group of unknown hijackers, believed to be led by Dominic Toretto (Diesel).

Dude you have no idea how happy I would be to visit these places in person :( but it's not easy for me to go to the US and then actually travel through these locations... I still miss Paul so much, he was such a nice person... he made me a good person and he was and still is my idol... this film is so special to me because I remember watching it for the first time at my grandma's place and since then I've loved the film so much and my grandparents knew that really well... everytime when it was on tv I used to come to their place and just watch the film with them when I was a kid...now I'm 21, my grandmother and grandfather aren't here anymore, just like Paul...it's emotional to see these locations man...thanks for this video, I know it might not look like it but it means a lot, it's somehow eerie to see the locations where they once stood...and to see the remaining objects that are captured in the film are still there, just "living" their lives.. the same objects, buildings that i once saw on the TV of my grandparents when they were still alive and life was perfect.. once again, thanks for this video

For 23-24 years the locations changed so much. At some point i wish i was born in the 90s just to see the locations right after they filmed the movie
Fun fact: the garage that Brian brought doms Supra to was also used in another movie “jay and silent bob strike back” as Holden McNeils house.

I drove by the San Bernardino Airport when they were filming racewars and at the time had no idea what was going on, I just remembered seeing hundreds of imports

They ended the movie the way it started. 2 Truck heist, tuna sandwich/tuna street, near shipping containers. I wonder if getting hit by the truck was ironic since he robbed trucks.

The eclipse blow up scene's super market was apparently always there. You'll see the sieu thi name on the cargos, I guess it means supermarket the full name being sieu thi thuan phat. I went to check it out last month and I know another youtuber recorded a short clip over a decade ago. So most of the statues are gone and moved around but the video is spot on. I check historic aerials and it seems like the island of statues got removed somewhere around a decade ago, but the loose pieces remain. Yes I also saw cats there seems like a good samaritan is feeding them.

@@TheNashFiles You were just a bit off on the spot where the eclipse was blown up. It was easier for me to line everything up as the statues were still in the center of that parking lot several years back. The eclipse was parked right over this white crosswalk that you can get a quick glimpse in the movie if you pay attention as it's real quick. That crosswalk went from the center of the statues to the market
All those walls were actually there when the movie was filmed, what wasn't there were those houses behind those walls.

Fun Fact: I used to work for Union Pacific Railroad as a conductor, and that track where the train almost hits them is called the East San Pedro Lead. It's only good for 15 mph based on the PHL timetable, but in the movie it looks like it's hauling ass.

It's interesting to see that there is actually no "ramp" or significant elevation change on the road near the train track for a jump to happen...

How did you find all the locations, have the time and money to go out there and find all these filming location? I'm so jelous man cause i have family that live out there and the only thing remotely close I've seen is where paul and roger crashed. Its my favorite franchise too and you've seen way more fast locations than I have and have been to fuel fest in LA which is also a dream of mine to go to someday. These are great videos man with alot of insight and detail, but I'm also pretty jealous, not going to lie.
I have friends who helped me find some of these spots. Plus most of them you can find online. I used my vacation time from work and worked my ass off to be able to afford a vacation. One day you’ll make it out there. I have more fast & furious stuff coming too.

The double cheese with fries might’ve been $2.95 back when the movie was filmed I’m assuming back in 2000 because it came out in June 2001. I think I remember going to the movie theater to see it. It’s crazy how things can change in two decades. You sound like me I can recite the whole original fast and furious also I’m not even a big motorhead like that, but I enjoy the movies. Particularly the first two after that in my opinion, it got ridiculous.
