(1:29) I like moving to one of the far walls, causing the doppelganger to bump into the opposite wall, to help me align myself for this treasure. (3:22) I thought Crusher only hits a single target. (4:23) Yeah, if only... (6:04) Uh, oh. It's a Whuhoh. This guy is called Hidon in the SNES version, which I think might be a reference to Final Fantasy VI. Again, I'm not sure why they felt the need to change its name. (8:43) This'll be my chance to scan Crusty, because that crab never showed up for me in any of the battles in the Sea area.
1:56 Greaper in disguise! 6:08 Whoa, oh! Who's Whuhoh? 6:20 How do you know? Nobody's running away, you mother toaster strudel treasure chest! 7:06 That comes sold separately, Mini Goomba!
There's a Safety Ring in a hidden door behind some barrels underwater before Johnny and his Henchmen. There's also a Frog Coin above the water above some barrels in that same area in the far-left. If you KILL ALL of Johnny's Henchmen and he's still alive, he'll mix up the battle and it'll go one-on-one with him and Mario. The SHARKS are ALL WEAK to THUNDERRR and SUSCEPTIBLE to FEAR and POISON!
6:08 🎵Whuhoh / Whuhoh / stuck like glue / you and me baby / we're stuck like glue🎵 .....'cause THAT name looks like a Sugarland reference to me! 6:20 Actually, as Lex Luthor would say........WRONG!!!!!
@HCbailly - I know you probably wouldn't do it anyways because it's kind of broken, but can you still do the trick of "stripping everyone naked, getting a star in a chest to kill a bunch of stuff and then gameover to get ported back to save with all the exp"? I used to do that in the SNES version for the purpose of saving time, but just curious if they removed that.
@@HCBailly Eh, I think the way you're doing it now is fine, skipping past clearing whole rooms, but for quick singular battles or battles that result in a level-up showing those.
Yeah, I think I like showing battles in which I level up, because it just felt a bit awkward to simply skip to the end. Still, I could remove individual battles that aren't really relevant.

The ship searching continues!
6:06 - 6:10 - That's quite the name there.
Time to more Treasure gathering and yes, another mimic chest
Even more secret treasures!
I like the OG mimic chest names better.
He was called "HIDON" in the original.
Nice video ❤

The way autosaving in this game works probably prevents that trick from being effective here.
:)
I'm finding myself having to skip through 90% of the videos because of battles.
I thought 5-10 second battles would be reasonably quick enough, but I guess not.
