I used to write short stories then, and what I would later learn, were sometime vignettes, which were a way for me to openly tell a true story in my own awkward confessional way. Now I mostly listen to audiobooks, but for certain books, I still feel it's necessary to have the book to follow along with the audio. A lot of older classic literature uses archaic language, so having a digital copy allows me to hilight a word or passage to get more context from it. Plus there are fantastic narrators now! For short stories, I just prefer to read them myself, since the stories I read, are generally pretty straight forward. I swear I would rather be a painter 🎨 than a writer though! I've tried, but I don't have a natural talent for it! Reading takes an attention span, and most people prefer looking at an image over having to read a novel. People hate my long comments sometimes as it is! 😅
