As you say fantastic scenery and one i never knew about. Don't some people use drones that follow you about/fly back to cut down on UA-cam miles? The coast will keep the midges off.
I didn't see another person walking the whole path, just day walkers although a bit shorter it's a lot better that the Highland Way, plus less midges, as for the youtube miles, it's something I am still debating on buying, alot of money for me to crash it on its first flight😂
@trendtraderx yes but like most things he doesn't pay for it, just promote them - I think that one is still about £600 and it's limited to what it can do
Great film that, looks so much to see up there. Can you recommend any quilts at all and do you use them all year. I really don't get on with sleeping bags and end up unzipping them anyway 😂😂
@@thepeakdistrictviking best quilts, are UGQ bandits,, custom made but are in America and cost a small fortune in import tax and vat, sometimes more than the original price, in the UK Valley and Peak do a few options, my next one will be an enlightened equipment quilt - Quilts better as lighter and wrap round not under so not constrained, only thing is on colder nights can give draught spots but with good straps synch around the mat, also get a base sheet that fits around sleep pad, as you are not in a bag you lie directly on the mat, some combine with a sleeve for the pillow so secures to mat and keeps pillow in same spot - bit long but hope that helps?
@@ExpeditionHiker I posted that comment at the start and quickly realised I didn't have enough time in my life to correct them all 😂😂. Hope you enjoyed our part of the world.
It's nice to see that you are enjoying this path so much. I hope the rest of it goes well. I look forward to watching. Thanks.
Thanks for watching, day 2 is out today, it's definitely a spectacular place to walk, and I hope I giving it justice in my video editing? Cheers
Amazing need to go for a little walk along the coast.,,, Love it
It's a stunner of a hike we'll worth the travel, I may go back and cycle the Moray Way - Thanks
