Just what I needed this morning. Beautiful music from a beautiful player in an almost otherworldly setting! Brittni's uke must be custom made( because) I see her name inlayed into the fingerboard. Very nice sound

As expected, tremendous production values - photography, sound quality - it's always a pleasure to hear and see a HiSession video! Brittni, as usual, is marvelous - I'm a huge fan of how she's able to emulate the classical guitar sound with the petite but mighty uke.
She has definitely taken the uke to another level. If you notice, her uke is made out of Koa wood which is only found in Hawaii.
love how she makes a mistake (1:28), smiles at herself disapprovingly and then nods approval at herself for getting it right the second time around (3:41)

such economy of movement in her hands
I love linear tuning (low 4th string) on the uke. So much more open, maybe a bit more dynamic, IMHO. Then if you want to really open it up, play baritone uke in linear tuning (DGBE). All the same chord shapes you already know, just down a 4th in pitch. I'm not going back.
