There are lot of things which ain't covered in the video. First of all, if you add total cycle time which is being more than 100% how it could be possible. Secondly, you need tertiary treatment unit for achieving the results as shown in the video and the last point, synchronization of air blowers with DO probe & actuators is most important part of this technology and many more things to explain.

SBR (Sequential batch bioreactor) works on activated sludge process, diffused aeration is provided at the bottom of SBR reactor for aeration process because aerobic bacteria is needed for the treatment of wastewater.

In SBR tank, for each step detention time is different, total detention time of all steps varies from 3 to 4 hrs. , Do you have Metcalf eddy book?
If yes then please check example 8.4,
