    Bow seat from 4:46 onward in the near boat...no wasted movement, direct oars...gosh that's nice.

    GREAT job.Impressive "TEAM" flow.Way to go on not FORCING your way up the slide,and letting the boat "RUN-OUT" underneath you.The VID is a must-see for the novice.The best to you all,& keep up the FLOW and all the SUCCESS in the World to y'all.

    Its great seeing the surge of the stroke, a real sign of great rowing. I wonder why Yale has such a meditrain, long back-ended stroke?

    Ah, Yale has such a cute rowing program. One day it might be half as good as Washington's.

      +Gary MacMillan you mean starboard

    • @shazs6300

      +Gary MacMillan also they are port rigged? stroke seat is on the side of 2 seat...

    • @MrBriellestark
      @MrBriellestark 8 років тому +1

      +Shazs No, they're starboard-rigged, which is 'bow-side' rigged in UK lingo.

    • @shazs6300
      @shazs6300 8 років тому

      +Brielle Stark so in the UK they call it starboard if bow seat is starboard? because where I'm from we base it off of the 8 seat

    • @MrBriellestark
      @MrBriellestark 8 років тому

      In the UK, starboard is always bow side, no matter if the bow seat is on stroke side. So yes, bow side is always to the coxes right in the UK

      People who square their blade while they are still at half slide are the ones who are the real cringe.

      Don't need swing to get speed. Better to keep the back end simple and avoid slowing the boat down, too much weight transfer to the bows will only make it harder.
