Thank you for a video NOT using pre-made kits. I do junk journalling without kits. I prefer to be creative in my crafts instead of cutting out someone else's creative artwork and gluing it down. In my opinion creativity is where all the fun is at.
I don’t use kits or digitals BUT I do applaud the YT creators who are able to produce and sell their original designs. And really if we’re using scrapbook paper, book illustrations, photos, vintage ads, pieces of fabric, Tim Holtz ephemera, etc., we’re incorporating someone else’s original work into ours.
I thank you so much for doing something without kits! I don’t have a computer or a printer and watch your channel on my phone. Thank you again! The tags are stunning and as always you are so creative! Blessings
I have all these old books lying around, not something really anyone would consider reading. Now I know what I can use the pages for ❤❤ thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge
Hi Tracie. What an amazing selection of tags you have made!! I learned a lot from watching this. I never even thought of using a square punch or cutting down larger photos. Instead of buying smaller photos in future, I will definitely do this. And the simple idea of taking words from an old book!!! Again never thought of it before. Each and every one of your tags look amazing. Many thanks. Debs. ❤
.Just a little tip, use a toothbrush to sprinkle ink or paint and you will find you get a much smaller splashes. Thank you for another great video, you are amazing!
Hello Tracie. So happy that you did this version. As much as I love digital kits, I have lots of book papers and other stuff that i would like to use up.❤
I can try these ideas Tracy...I can't buy digitals so it's wonderful to see what you did. I have small tags that can work. Thank you again for sharing your amazing talents 🎉
I so appreciate that you're making this without a kit. So many videos use kits and I don't have them and can't really match the look very well. I love what you created and the techniques you taught us. Thank you.
Thank you for not using a kit, I have a printer but only a mobile phone. Can’t seem to print correctly. Love this! ❤ I love that you saved the paper from a bag of flour!
I know this video is from a few months back, but I’m just now getting to it. I absolutely loved watching you make these little tags! I can really see the artist coming out here. ❤
Absolutely love seeing how to do tags without premade ones from kits. My grandson who is 8 yrs old love when I have used mostly recycled items. Thank you. 😀🪻🐴🎶🐩🌮
I find myself looking at not only what I create myself.... but those of others like yourself..... where we take a pile of 'oddments' or scraps and make something that is beautiful!!! I continually find inspiration in your videos..... and even though I may not make those particular items.... I do use ideas from the process of making them. Thank you so much for the detail you show and the evolving ideas in our papercraft adventures.
I watch you and think of the now famous meme of the Game of Thrones drawing of the horse where the first 1/3 looks like it was done by Michaelangelo and the last bit looks like a child drew a stick horse. Your masterpieces make mine look like stick figures but you're helping me evolve. Each of these is a gem and you have the magic of serendipity. I don't even know if you planned it that the word "expecting" was paired with a Renaissance woman who looks like she's ...expecting. Brilliant! My gosh, your imagination is vast and your talent limitless. Blown away by these (in case you couldn't tell!). Thanks for these fabulous ideas!
Ah its all luck more than judgment! I only had the few words I pulled from 2 of the books :-D. Its un to just play around and once you have a few words, you will be amazed how many images you can pair them with. Enjoy giving them a try and have a wonderful Sunday xx HUGS xx
Wow these are so cool, lot of work, and you have such a good eye. Not sure I could make any or not as cool as you did. Love the gift you shared too. Thanks!!!
Wonderful ideas. Love the different ways you distressed the edges. I bought the digital kit...gorgeous! Loving the very grungy/industrial look. The brighter colored postage stamps look great with these! I almost had a seizure when you cut them...but they look great! I recall many years ago actually burning edges of paper to get a vintage look, before we had all of the handy tools we have now...that would be cool for this project also.
I know it seems a bad move to some people cutting the edge off and I really am sorry, but since I have collected stamps since I was 7, you can imagine how many I have. :-( HUGS xx
You should put a piece of paper in your splatter box first. Then you'd have not wasted paint and would have some cool scrap paper to use. But I love your tips and creativity!
Absolutely love these tags! Simple things but I’d never think to do. Going to pull some things out, rewatch and have a play. Thanks for sharing your talents.
I do love that you're doing these not from a kit. Much easier to find papers and photos from books and our stash! Thanks for showing how you made such awesome tags! ~Janet in Canada
Hi Tracie, this video was just pure to watch - love to see you crafting. That book, this amazing century is fab - just looked to see I i can find a copy on line, no luck . I will be looking out for a copy in the charity shops xx
Thanks so much Hun but I was very disappointed with this copy. It was not cheap but I wanted the cover. When it arrived from the US it was NOT the cover in the picture and it was really smokey smelly. Took a long time to smell better. There are better books out there more local to us:-D xx
@@TracieFoxCreative I have found a copy on abe books, and the next in the series too, I will let you know what they are like when they arrive, both from UK xx
I have that Book set! I love them and the textured covers are fun too. This is a great video, I struggle with decorating, I love making Junk journals, so the few videos I have watched are very helpful, thank you.
These look great! I have tons of scraps and book pages. I like the idea of creating one of a kind pieces. Thank you for sharing your talent with us! ❤️
Miss Tracie, love all your tags. So perfectly put together. Love how you designed each one so uniquely. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you and your family. 🥰💖👍👍👍👍👍(🌹🐞🦂🌵)
What a mammoth but they are all so lovely - thank you - you are always looking for ways to share projects and to be creative using things that are easily sourced and inexpensive yet also giving the option of the kit as well. ⭐️
These are just priceless ♥️ Over the last few days I’ve been taking apart an old stamp album for usable postage and have the binder and pages in the recycling bin. Guess I better retrieve it quickly! Thanks for all of the great ideas
These really are so beautiful and unique! I really like them all 🤗. It looks like a lot of work for sure 😂. But the results are just fabulous! Hugs ❤️🤗
I really enjoyed this video, you are so very creative !! These tags are little art creations, you are very talented. . Thank you for sharing your ideas with us and I am definitely going to make some tags with my scraps and your ideas 😊
What incredible inspiration! This is one of the first of your videos that I've seen, so I can't wait to do a deep-dive into the rest of your channel. Your style is so much like mine, but your ideas utilizing actual vintage rather than kit ephemera are wonderful! Thank you so much, Tracie.
Thank you for a video NOT using pre-made kits. I do junk journalling without kits. I prefer to be creative in my crafts instead of cutting out someone else's creative artwork and gluing it down. In my opinion creativity is where all the fun is at.
These tags are darling! I love the idea that they are made from scratch and with recycled tid bits. I’m so impressed, thank you for sharing!
I completely agree with you! I love the hand made element.
Great video for those on a budget or like me whose crafting mantra is ‘waste not’.
I thank you so much for doing something without kits! I don’t have a computer or a printer and watch your channel on my phone. Thank you again! The tags are stunning and as always you are so creative! Blessings
You are so welcome!
This is my situation too although I wish I had access to it all - I simply can't afford all the goodies although I love looking & keeping wish lists!
Every time I’m at the hardware store I take a few paint color cards and make them into tags etc. Great for pops of colour
Love how you use the kits and then dont. Love the variations and the creativity very much ❤
Love the NO KITS! Thank you for sharing and for all the time you put into doing so!!❤
The tags are adorable, vintage, and ready to put in the old fashioned journals. Love them.
Love these, some things are worth the time it takes. I craft for pleasure not speed 💜
Yes! Thank you!
YESSSSS!

Wow!! Love this, fun fab was to use your stash. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for this I have so many books. ❤❤❤
Hope you enjoy it!
I’m loving the no kit video. Our printer is black and white only so no good for kits and I have absolutely no idea how to jet them anyway! Thank you 🙏
Could look really cool black and white, you could use coloured/patterned papers or tea dyed then ironed before printing.
Love these, Tracie! You did such a fabulous job! Thank you for sharing! ❤️
Awesome video Tracie!! So much work and thought put into it to this process. You are much appreciated!!
Thank you so much!
