It IS a real AMG according to AMG. The difference between the C450 ( now named C43) and a C63s is not only the HP, is that the c63 is hand made by 1 engineer in AMG, and the C43 is tuned by AMG in MERCEDES center. It's like the entry lvl of AMG. Obviously I would but a A45 before becuase it's a hand made engine over the C43. Hope this helps

Yes it is, pretty much same as M235i, 335i M performance Edition. A45 is great car, but unfortunately we don't have this model in USA.
GLA45 amg is the same thing but maybe 2 in higher. Same height as Subaru STI
Absolutely Zero maybe a M240i, they don’t sell a M 3 series. With a M performance kit sure, but slightly different then this. This has a AMG badge.

I saw a CLS cdi badged amg in my city this week.
its a C450 AMG (that is the name given by mercedes/amg in 2016) in 2017 it re-introduces as an AMG C43 ... same platform (9gr tranny on 2017 43) nothing else changes. There is nothing fake about it, it just a TT-V6 which is obviously not as powerful as the v8 63
