Reminds me of Praia da Pipa nearby, a beach i used to frequent the year i lived in Brasil in 1990. They had a tiny town square with a black and white TV on top of a pole with the whole town watching. I'm 61 first surfed in 1965 spent 4 years on maui surfing 1975-76 haven't stepped on a board in years( I live in NY), but watching O'Brien's clips regularly gives me great consolation!
