This isn't that. Seems genuine. Also, Erdogan is losing more by not attending big events for his campaign than he is gaining by being ill. You would know this if you were Turkish.

Visible illness makes political candidates look weak, and it almost universally hurts their chances during elections. Voters don’t like their head of state to be a liability, since instability usually follows a political leader’s incapacitation or death.
In this case, no.
Probably if the leader’s wife or son dies. Something emotionally catching for voters so they can latch on a dramatic narrative. Making “redemption” a reason why you want to vote for that candidate.
But in this case, there is no “redemption” with illness. Because being a president cannot save you from health complications, stepping down does.
Erdogan is a patriot & having meritorious views to build Turkey strong & powerful national achievement will be earned under his leadership.
Then he would do it in every elections

Sounds like food poisoning. He needs rest and no desterbance for about 2 weeks. Food poisoning is a funny condition. It may not hit you for 1 or 2 days then sudenly , it hit you.all at once and hard. At his age this is very serious. Younger people has died from this. Lots of rest and chicken soup. Keep his meals light. It will be nice to have him back. Explore the internet for what he can eat and treatment . dont let him go to work till he is healthy again
It is absolutely impossible for him to have food poisoning. Everything he eats is VERY carefully prepared, tasted and possibly tested too. You fail to realize that this guy is living in a huuuuge palace with over 1,000 rooms.
To my knowledge he had multiple operations on his intestines. So its possible with the stress of elections + aging factor, his body is simply starting to fall apart.
