that is a beautiful tractor , your 1206... rather sought after by collectors and old tractor enthusiasts ! We have 1 size smaller at the farm , an 806 , wheatland , standard , from the last production year ( trying yo recall if that was 1966 or 67 ? ). Good motors in them for certain !. thanks for sharing Ty !!
I've never seen a colter chisel here. I guess you can go deeper with them and the manufacturers expect that as they expect 10-13 hp per shank. We pull regular chisels successfully with half that much power.
Pretty country up there. The old 1206 sounds strong. Looks to be original. Nice looking and sounding tractor. I think the best-looking tractor ever made. Very highly sought after. Do you do a lot of fall tillage?
This is the first time I watched your channel. Over the old farm iron channels, you now have a new sub. Keep up the great videos coming.
Thanks so much for watching and subscribing!
You got some good looking dirt up there
It's a heavy grey wooded clay soil. It grows good but is harder to work. The soil varies considerably within a few miles here.
My favorite tractor . 1206 with white flat tops ,prettiest tractor ever made . Great video Ty .👍
I think that was nice to paint the flat top fenders white on a Farmall 1206. The wheatland fenders were red on the International 1206s, though

We also have an 806 wheatland and three 706 wheatlands. They are all good tractors. Thanks for watching!
That would be a dream of mine to get to disk with a 1206. I always loved disking with our Farmall M . Great Job keep up the good work.
Thanks so much! I like the 1206. It's a great tractor.
i remeber when they came out farmer down the road had one hooked to abig fox forage havester it was amazing at that time
They were the real deal at the time for sure. And a great tractor, too/
I was envious of our neighbors with high clearance colter chisels. We never did own one though

We like to do our heavy tillage in the fall. Since we have clay soil, we try to loosen the dirt up good so the snow melt can moisten the ground.
G day Ty Boy it look like a bit of a load on it, Ths
It actually handles it well. I could have went a gear faster but I would rather not work the tractor too hard.
Would that be a ford disc or painted that colour?
It's a Ford disc
How many hp does that tractor have?.
