Question: the 4mm accessory chord is what actually connects the hammock and rope - so why use the thicker 7mm climbing rope at all when the strength of the system relies on the 4mm rope? Why not just use only 4mm rope and save on weight?
it was cool. If you have all that stuff to do that. I wouldn't go purchase all that to make a strap. I would just use nylon webbing about 10ft-15 long x2 and just use two knots to tie straps to tree and hammock.
