My big problem with Ling is that he doesn't have any weaknesses.
He has insane strengths, but not a single exploitable weakness.
He deals huge damage, is one of the tankiest heroes in the game, has insane combos, is ridiculously fast, has a reliable block Breaker, a broken basic attack and overall good moveset, and also has good shadow abilities.
He literally has everything. He is a perfect character.
That's the problem. Every other character has at least one or two huge, exploitable weaknesses that you can play around in order to beat them easily.
King of the Legion is slow and easy to punish, and he gains shadow energy super slow, but relies on it heavily.
Bulwark is horrifically slow and punishable.
Shang is useless against shadow suppressors.
Etc. Every hero has a weakness that you can exploit to win, but when fighting Ling, there is nothing like that. He has no weaknesses, but instead of being a jack of all trades, he is a master of all trades.
I'd argue that his defense needs to be toned back. There's no reason why this guy should be tanker than every single Legion character, while also being crazy fast and having insane combos.
It just doesn't make sense, he should have an average amount of health, maybe slightly above average at most.
This is what I would change about him, I would just reduce his health by like 12%, so he is a little more fair and more in line with everyone else.
Itu also has no weaknesses ☠️
@@Hydrabyss Yeah, id argue that he needs to get some nerfs to have a weakness.
Don't nerf his strengths, just take something that he's only ok at and make it a weakness.
I don't want to sound like I'm repeating myself too much, but just nerfing his health to make him a glass cannon like Lynx would actually fix a lot of his problems.
If Itu is a glass cannon, then he has the weakness of low health, and suddenly his insane damage, speed, and combos all feel way more justified.
He would be able to wreck you easily, but could also get wrecked easily.

Example after nerf nobody was using shang because he is not very useful without his shadow form as his attacks are slow like legions and not very fast.

Not even close, King of the Legion is so easy to defeat. He is incredibly slow and barely has any unbreakable state on his attacks, meaning you can easily just rush him down, or just punish his mistakes and beat him easily.
He gains shadow energy really slowly, and if you can interrupt his shadow combo, then he's screwed.
Not only that, but his entire existence gets countered hard by fast characters, shadow suppressors, and heroes like Sarge, Legions Hero Marcus, and Kate.
