The coaches will be a great addition to any L.N.E.R. layout that depicts the right era or heritage line. Unfortunately, I don't model the L.N.E.R. so they aren't for me, but it was wonderful to see them rattling through my favourite train set. One slight downside, if I must, is it's a shame that the emergency brake rigging and the electric jumper cables weren't or aren't a separate fitted part as per the handrails, but overall well done Hornby and thanks to Chris and Tony.
Nicely done 👍
A layout-envy inducing video if ever there was one. The set looks great.
Wonderful running
Great video and great running of Mallards record breaking run andvthe fantastic Hornby LNER Coronation Coaches
I have 3 pairs and the Beavor tail observation car, amazing models, Hornby certainly smashed it out of the park with these.
Thank you for sharing Tony, a true tribute to “Tiny Tim” and his magnificent engineering prowess.
Would love a rake of these cars. Wonderful !

Absolutely beautiful.
Hornby nailed these.
Nice touch with the dyno car. Replicating the record run.
Remarkable work from Hornby. My only concern is the gap between the side panel and the end. Was it there on the original?
