The fear of apartheid returning and a big percentage of black people not voting . You are such a bright light ,keep it up ,never stop educating people .I support your point of view 100%.Exactly my frustration with my fellow SA brothers and sisters .We can make the change if we could just get 1 opposition party that we all could trust .I get so sad to see how we are divided as a nation .Keep up your good work it is noticed .

The psychology of the poor in this country is very strange....they stick to the ANC instead of voting for their best interests and better quality of life! Very, very strange behaviour!

I think the big problem is that this is not a sane country. We have a massive illiterate voter base who really can't care about the future of the country. As far as they are concerned the ANC gave them freedom, and they would rather die than give any other party their vote. It is part loyalty, part stubbornness but largely stupidity.

Majority of Cosatu affiliates eg SADTU(Teachers), Denosa(Nurses), Popcru(Police and Prison Officers)etc are they illiterate?
They campaign and vote for ANC. Some of the unions wanted to divorce Cosatu, but SADTU leaders refused. SADTU have pledged to help ANC to win elections. We are simply a cursed nation, education has not change the mindset of the majority of the black people. Sad to say but it is true, as if we are running short of something. No wonder why some nations are not taking us serious.
How do normal people continue to support and vote for the so called leaders who steal from them, we will discuss the behaviour in eternity. SA just need a leader like Kagame, democracy is a far fetched concept.

I voted for the first time in 1994. The queue to vote was diverse. A first ever. There was so much excitement rippling through the queues. If you had told the people what it would be like 30 years later, no one would believe it. I wouldn't.

To those people who watched this video, maybe we need to start supporting people like Thomas more financially so that they can find other means of spreading this message to the community outside. They are not related to an opposition party but carrying out this information on their own costs. We need to assist them because the bulk of the people do not see this message.

Thomas keep going - I pray that GOD will sustain and protect you as you speak for millions without voices. For me the rot has to be stopped : removal of Premiers, MEC's,DG's,HOD's and Mayor's. We are being blind sighted in thinking that we are a democratic country😮 the UK is a prime example of the "dole" a grant that sustains families and the unemployed. Their homes are subsidized as well as health and education. We are a society of many eligible graduates, PHD's ect across the color barrier whi have been excluded. I am no longer amazed as the cadre's in their 70/80's who by the way sleep through Parliamentary sittings .for me - being back / retrieve all the billions that have deprived our people in every aspect. We continue to pray for you. Take care GOD 🙌

An ANC in South Africa is similar to Zany PF in Zimbabweans that hates Zimbabweans to the core because of the evil and the pain that Zanu PF is inflicting on its Zimbabwean people, the ANC makes sure that we feel the pain of them being in power for 30 years with lots and lots of suffering, whilst the Comrades are thriving in tenders and getting employment opportunities first before anybody else

The issue in this nation is that the ANC has been the ruling party of South Africa since we achieved what is called democracy. South African citizens find it challenging to vote for a different party due to this. Katleho inquired why some of them don't support other political parties such as Action SA, BOSA, etc., and their response was simply, "We are not familiar with them." Supporters of the ANC have been deceived with false promises

The revolutionary option is to held all the anc voters accountable to the messery we experience in this country. It should start a the community level, anyone voting the anc must be held accountable for their mess through harsh means. Unfortunately they instantly have many-many political parties more than 200. It shows how divided and ignorant some of our people are. Its very sad how weak and substandard most of our people think and do in SA. The EFF is trying at its best but our people are obsessed with poverty and underdevelopment only to admire the opulence of ANC cadres and tenderpreneurs. Our people are brain damaged.

Thomas why do you think the ANC is becoming more popular? All I see is the ANC paying influencers to show up at their ralies and speak for them on Social Media and those influencers catch shot every single time. The only problem I see is the young people refusing to vote because we actually have the numbers to beat the old people and the cadres on the polls.

As much as people have rights, they also need to learn that they have responsibilities. They meed to learn more about their voting rights and that their vote is nobody else's business. Dont believe what politicians promise, look at what they do. Do they keep their promises? It is up to every single South African to chose their future. Do they really want a better life? If they do then they must start thinking about changing what they do and be prepared to work hard for their future and the future if their children.

  • @hedleyfurio
    @hedleyfurio 8 місяців тому +3

I think the first step is to analyse the voter base into segments /groups by income and education level . 2. Then establish touch points that are the key areas of concern for each grouping . 3. Then have a workable plan to address these concerns . 4. Then clearly communicate this plan in the language they speak and understand . 5. Then implement pilot projects to allow voters to see your plans results . 6. Basically say what you will do and do what you say . 7. ANC bashing makes millions rally around those who are being persecuted , so the less said about them the better, as it is human nature to defend and support those we believe are getting unfair treatment . - If my perception of a fulfilling life is to have cattle and goats then promises of a good education , great healthcare will not resonate with me . The messaging and action must map out a path to groups goals . All that said , I think every South African wants to feel safe , have clean water and access to food , a roof over their head, electricity, and assurance that tax money to provide these is not being stolen by whoever is in power for self enrichment.

Thomas I have been following your piece bit by bit, But the piece you did today this morning about the Zimbabwe asshole you really shocked me up because it made me realize that there are still South Africans who are not happy about what is going on in our County specially when it comes to these people from outside our country, I am going to touch there and there on this issue for us who has been out there in exile in the countries outside South Africa it was hard for us to get a cup of water to drink let alone food or a place to sleep some of us had to join the liberation movements in order to survive those years the end of 60's the fight was was hard we sided with Nkomo's Zipra to be able to make it many of our people died out there not even one of our people was ever found doing anything against the then government all these people never allowed us to even sell a stick of matches I mean all these countries never gave us a chance to make a living out there so you can imagine how it was like for us out there I respect Countries like Tanzania Angola and Mozambique who supported us and gave us places to live like Tanzania where we even managed to build a school the Salomon Mahlangu College the then President of that country had made sure that South Africans felt at home in Tanzania followed by Angola and Mozambique well that was during the struggle Nigeria never did nothing for us though today they are close to telling us how to run the show in our house I don't care much about Countries like Malawi Botswana and Swaziland because they knew the whites South African government then would scrap of the map like Lesotho yet lot of our people manage to skip the Country through those Small Countries there was never a South African who started a business outside of the country I am saying this because since 1968/69/70 out there it was tough for South Africans in exile what killed us is when the liberation came to us every gates were open for every one to come to South Africa before South Africans were even able to after themselves that created the corruption in the country as Thomas M says about the Bad Zimbabwe people who are in South Africa. Some of these people were there way back during the apartheid years but then they were people who were looking for work and go back home something with Malawian s, they didn't move in Zambians did play a role in our struggle like Libya. I was hoping for that guy MacKenzie to be given that position, because it takes a thorn to take out a thorn I don't think Oom Peter will manage that job. And Juju says he doesn't want boarders in Africa we some walked out of the Country we did not fly out and we were there outside life not hearsay, Kubuhlungu kulomuntu ongaziyo ukuthi kwakunjani ukuba ngaphandle kwelizwelakini, not like those who even enjoy to be in prison in South Africa, there is no this piece I will tell later

Thomas, if you have not done this already, can you do a podcast that explains how BEE and affirmative action are laws that promote racism (When one race sees another as inferior). By this I mean BEE and Affirmative action are like a handicap in Golf. Handicaps are there to equalise the playing field. So, by having these laws in place, the ANC are saying that black people are not good enough to perform at the same level as other races. Black people are biting their noses off to spite their faces. I know black people that are highly intelligent and capable of not having to rely on BEE or affirmative action to achieve success. So, for me there is no excuse. To me the best way to demonstrate capability is to study hard and work for the qualification, that is, to start at the bottom and then work your way to the top (experience and listening to legitimate experts). That way South Africa will grow efficiently and economically (positive spiral). South Africa can become the next superpower; however, we must work together. Just saying....

Thomas, I enjoy your video but the question is whether this message are actually reaching the populace of SA it is intended for?
You indicated that the youth is just sitting around doing nothing but drinking beer, partaking in substance abuse etc.
They are not watching your video and the ANC knows that. How are you going to get this message across to them. Even if you look at the comments on your video, there is very little feedback from the bulk of the R350's. I would suggest that you maybe find a couple of like minded individuald who can spread this to the community, especially to this who have to live on R350 alone.
