Please, continue exploring Jaguares and Caifanes, in this way so many people will know new music out of the border of USA, And after that, of course, so many great artist like Jose Jose, Juan Gabriel, Carlos Gardel, Pedro infante, heroes del silencio, Luis Eduardo Aute , Silvio Rodriguez, Mercedes Sosa, and so more, because of it's so huge the wealth of iberoamerican music.
Hi! Also from Mexico you should react to La Barranca, the song is Akumal (or almost any song, actually they are all great). The founders of Jaguares were the guys in La Barranca
The singer did not use anything to distort his voice, at that time Saúl Hernández went through a throat problem that almost led him to lose his voice, it was even thought that it was cancer, that is why his voice sounds "hurt" unlike when he sang in Caifanes.
My friend I just saw your video, this is the best rock band in Latin America, methaphoric lyrics, not to mention the music, I see you enjoy it just like I do, saludos Rock on!!!
The guitar player in that album Is José Manuel Aguilera, current leader of the band named "La Barranca". You should try that band, Is a very underated band here un México, but is one of the greatest. They've released 11 LPs. It,s firt drummer was Alfonso André, drummer of Caifanes and Jaguares. If you want to, I recommend this songs, "El alacrán" or "Quémate lento" as an introduction to it's music. Those songs are from it's first álbum, also named "la barranca". My personal favorite is "Haikú" from it's album "Providencia".
When they dropped El equilibrio I was so damn skeptic. Saul's voice suffered a lit, but the changes they made were the best. They had one of the best guitarist in the country here - Juan Manuel Aguilera- his own band is called La Barranca you should listen to them. He was pivotal for this particular sound.
CAIFANES/JAGUARES It's the same band, this song is my favorite on this album, although the whole album is excellent ... I highly recommend the song by "Dime Jaguar" 😎🎸
La Barranca please react to this band Jose Manuel Aguilera is the genius of Jaguares and one of the greatest musicians in Latin America, greetings and perhaps as great as your reactions 🤟
Frank, you need to react to another great mexican band "La Barranca". A side project to the former jaguares guitarist. Please react to songs like Esa madrugada, Quemate lento, Dia Negro....
Hello, I am a young fan of caifanes and I loved your video, it would be wonderful if you could react to the song ~Sombras de tiempos perdidos~ from the album "El diablito" or to the song ~Quisiera ser alcohol ~ from the album "El nervio del volcán" by caifanes, thank you very much 🤟
You know mr. Frank, is impressive how most Brazilians don't know their own culture. Especially when it comes to northeastern culture (the first area, which Portuguese colonizers stepped on). If you some day are ever interested tô make a video about one of the greatest exponents in the music of this culture, please do not hesitate to see Luiz Gonzaga, Elomar, Xangai, Vital Farias, so far so good to start.
De noche todos los gatos son pardos or Metamorfeame of Caifanes sounds like this song but with Saul Hernández still with a great voice. You should react to one of those
Hi, Frank! I know Brazilians like to see you reacting to parodies of Massacration or Mamonas Assassinas, but let's go back to some good MPB for a while... Some suggestions: by Gilberto Gil ("Sandra" or "Domingo no Parque" or "Lamento Sertanejo" ); by Gal Costa ("Qual é Baiana" or "O Amor" or "Vaca Profana); by Caetano Veloso ("Terra" or "Maria Bethania" or "Luna Rossa").
Very True !!! Massacration and Mamonas are only good bands for kids and teens, not for adults.(I was fan of both when i was a kid and teenager but today the songs of these bands look very silly to me).Great brazilian rock bands are those from the 60's, 70's and 80's.
FRANK here there’s a Caifanes video from 1993 ua-cam.com/video/rRibfyu0J6Q/v-deo.html. They are really rare to find them. Enjoy! And more Caifanes reacctions please!
React to Ed Motta - "Entre E Ouça"(Live In Bourbon Street Music Hall) I'm curious to see your reaction to the late and great bass player Marcelo Mariano
