  • Finally got around to doing a full walk around of my 2020 Jeep Wrangler JLU. In this video I talk about how I transformed this Jeep from a Sport Altitude Edition to a trail conquering machine that happens to be my daily driver.
    This Jeep was built in my home garage with help from a few friends and my lovely wife.

    No inner fenders and no Muffler. You know you need to get those interfenders. Keep that crap out of your engine bay. Suggestion for a muffler. Sounds really good. It's a MagnaFlow 4 inch round three chambered Muffler. You need a 2.1/5" Inlet, Outlet. Installs on the driver side almost under the driver's seat a little bit behind that. You won't sound like a Kubota tractor no more. Inner fenders are a must. Protect your engine bay. First thing I did was a snorkel. Because the first time I hit water with my Jeep water came in the cold air intake and it died... Nice looking jeep. Those three things I mentioned are very cheap it looks like should be within your budget. Trust me the Mufflers going to sound amazing you'll love it. Me Jacked07jk✌❤🙂

      Thank you! I need to do another walk around to update all the changes I've made since this video.
      Long story short, When my son was learning to count he would always emphatically end on 11's!! I told my wife I should get that tattooed to remember all the funny stuff kids say growing up. I then came up with the 11's logo and around that time started building this Jeep and wanted a unique name and a way to have my son feel like he's a part of the build.

    Definitely a pretty badass build. Not too over the top but for sure super high quality parts. No expense spared! I’m surprised it flexes as well as it does with mid arms. I assumed you had long arms. That’s pretty legit! I’ve been wanting to do coilovers but was worried about mid arms. I’ll likely do long arms and never do coilovers, but one can dream!

    Why did you choose Evo over Rock Krawler , Metalcloak, or anything else ? I’m still debating

    • @ELEVENSDIRTLIFE
      @ELEVENSDIRTLIFE  Рік тому

      EVO and Rock Krawler are my go to recommendations for off the shelf bolt on lift kits. I ran a Rock Krawler Kit on one of my JK's and loved it. They actually make my favorite coil.
      I wanted to run the EVO bolt on coilover kit on my JL, which is why I went EVO on this one.
      If you looking for a standard shock and coil lift , both EVO and RK are great options.

      Great question. I wanted to do all of the work transitioning from standard shock and coil to coilovers. I think the EVO Bolt on Coilover kit is a killer kit and something I could tackle in my garage. The kit comes with the EVO Spec Kings. Had I done weld in towers at that time and brackets I would have had Accutune build me a set specifically for my Jeep.

      It’s probably sitting at about 4 to 4 1/2 inches of lift height in that configuration. Those are coil covers on there so that’s not really any specific lift number but it sat pretty close to when I had 4 1/2 inch springs on it.
