Adorable Boy Tries to Find a Name for Kitten

- Hello dear friends, today we're facing a little situation that we hope you can help us with. As you know, we have a new friend, a guest kitten, who hasn't yet been named. We thought this would be a simple and quick decision, but it turned out to be quite the opposite as every family member has their own idea. Betty, an avid reader of fantasy books, wants to name him Winchester-it's a unique and magical name, but she's the only one who likes it. Robert prefers something simple and has suggested 'Meow,' which is easy for him to call out. Mom thinks he looks like a snow leopard and likes the name Snow or even Leo. I've suggested Jumpy because he's incredibly active and can jump so high-it's a name I really like, but no one else seems to agree. And yes, of course, Coby comes up with his own creative names. If I had to make a suggestion, thinking about his fluffy, fuzzy fur, and the way he is such a playful, exuberant, cheerful little ball of energy, I would call him Dynamo or Fuzzball, or maybe Fluffy!

Robert is highly educated. He's been reading books. He's already learnt the language of Chinese. "Meow" is how you'd pronounce the word "cat" in Chinese.

Meow is good. Think about it. Which name when said in endearing manner will work. Jumpy - Jum,
Snow Leopard - Snolep, in any case only Meow will work. It's sweet just as is. Not only that but Robert
named this little kitty wonder. Meow could have two middle names Snowleopard and Jumpy and the families last name which is the way he'll be identified. I would also put a chip in him and Kobe if you haven't yet. Your pets are very attractive, don't loose them.

Robert calls it meow right, my suggestion would be "Mavu". Its a interesting sounding word to me, actually means "mango tree" or just "tree" in my local language. Would also be easier i guess for robert to say it too.

Of the five options in the video, I think Meow is the cutest. Snow is very common, as is Leo; you probably want something more unique. I'm not sure what Chimken means. "Jumpy" in English means fearful or nervous, so not sure about that one. How about "Salto", which means "leap" in Italian? If you want an English word, how about "Bounce", "Spring", or "Prancer"?

‘Jump’ is a Van Halen song, so, maybe, ‘Halo’, for dad-who probably can’t wait for the day kitty settles down a little more when he is playing. And for Robert, you can’t improve on perfection, so ‘Mao’ works, even though the kitten looks more Persian than Chinese, but encouraging creative play is a good thing at Robert’s stage of development. Maybe he needs a double name like, ‘Mao Li’ (short for Leo), that way half of your crew is represented. ‘Isaac Halo’? Nah, that’s just too silly, imvho. Sorry, Betty and dad. 😝
I don’t know, but whatever you name him he is a beautiful kitten, for sure, and we all know he is very loved. By the way, did you know cats don’t usually come when called by their name? They’re very independent by nature and, essentially, do what they want. They are true free spirits🤗. Maybe you could build on that? 🤷🏼♀️(If I really didn’t help in naming the kitten, I hope you had a laugh or two, at least.). I will love whatever you choose and believe, honestly, the kitten will not care one way or another. 🤣😂🥰
Hmmm, maybe, ‘Teddy’ for Theodore Roosevelt who was a famous hunter -or ‘Hercules’ for Elton John’s cat from when he was growing up… this is just getting out of hand now… do you have a favorite soccer player (kitty’s orange ball) or sports figure (Bryant would complete Kobe Bryant, a tribute to a famous and well loved American basketball player). Once I gave a name of two sibling brothers, as an example: Remy ( my ) + Elco ( co ) = my +co = “ mico “ ( I fond better suitable of combining of last letters to pronounce. This cat Mico survived almost 12 years. It became a unique name!
