I remember the day when the DMC Devil May Cry trailer came out and they "rebooted" the whole franchise. I listened to the original song of this thinking back on OG Dante's adventures through the 4 games and how we'll never see him, Nero, Lady and Trish continue that journey. Thank God for DMC 5!
For those curious about the Japanese in the verses - and I'm sure BJ might have a different wording or interpretation, but the first verse's is "Ima kara aishiteru jibun ja nai" which is something like "I'm no longer the person you used to love". The second verse's "kimi no koto wasurenai yo... ima made mo." means "I haven't forgotten about you... even now." Ironically I'm having trouble making out the english in between the two parts of Japanese there. XD Guess we'll wait for the lyrics!
