Just a note you only need one water block to wet a 9x9 space. The grid looks nice but if you're looking for more growing area one block is only needed. Then cover with a carpet square. Also the joys of creative, placing blocks and deleting blocks by accident lol.

Don’t forget the step when you die mining the last block of cobble before you can start building, the zombie pics up your tools and armor and you lose where you died :D
Tip you can slabs for the farm 1. You get more blocks to place down saving resources 2.you can place slab on the top half o a block and the bottom half water saving space for more farmin

great house but... 9 stacks of planks and a long time to build it especially in survival and some things could be a bit better like a ladder going down to the farm so u dont need to go out ur housebut yh great design
Big brain idea for the farm underneath the house, on the wood pathing replace all the wood planks with water and put slabs on top to make even more crops. Since slabs are now waterlogged. You're welcome.
I know I’m late, but I just recently got into Minecraft.. & great minds think alike.. I did the exact same thing in the jungle bc it’s hard to see on the ground.. then I put my crops and animals underneath.. turned out really nice actually.. yours is great too..
I actually started a world (in creative, not on realm) for myself to do you tube builds. I literally named the world trying youtube builds. I don't care how big or small they are, I am simply trying different builds that I like the looks of so that I can see what ways there are of doing things. I want to experience different approaches to building. I do not limit myself to houses. I have tried a bridge, a kitchen, a fire pit, a set of stairs, 2 different stables, a workshop, and now this is the 4th different house.
I had so much copper that I didn’t know what to do with so I’m using copper for the stairs instead of cobble stone, and jungle wood logs instead of oak wood logs it looks nice
I tried that with a different house a year ago, did it with a nether theme, used crimson wood, black stone, basalt, and nether brick. It was awesome before it got corrupted

It made me to destroy almost half a forest and about 11 stone axes to gather all the wood. Definitely not resource friendly but still good design...

Fun fact: you can actually swap out each block with a different color palette. (Try it with warped wood and oxidized copper)
