Been a while since I've seen cylindrical cells in a pack like that. I guess between that and the lower build quality, that would explain why the price is cheaper. Still seems like a good battery though.

Good to see this one pulls full capacity. The BMS looks the same as the one in the 100Ah. If I recall correctly I think it said 120a on it. Great Video!

Thats awesome you are reviewing all the batteries like this. It seems like they use good cells in all the plug and play batteries like this but seems the bms is kinda lacking in about all of them I've seen. Maybe I just expect someone to build one with a big enough bms and big enough wires to handle a good size inverter.
It comes down to the cells, Most can only handle a 1C discharge rate, but even that is not good for them. Best to oversize your bank to keep the C rate down for longer-lasting batteries.
@@Roll2Videos I'm still new to building batteries but my 16 cell battery I just built is 280 eve cells at 24 volts. I put a 300 amp dally as the bms actually just oversized it because I figured it might last longer without being stressed. I'm sure I'll never pull 300 amps thru it but I saw on one of wills old videos where he was talking about how an oversized bms is a good idea. I also got the active balancer on there at the moment also but once they are top balanced I figure I'll remove the active balancer and see if the daly can keep them in check. I also just received 2 of the 2 amp jkbms's but haven't been home in a couple days so I've not gotten a chance to mess with them yet. I appreciate you guys making the videos it gave me the confidence in building my power system to be off grid

I also wrote them asking/suggesting that they add Bluetooth….hopefully with controlls via Bluetooth….as well as monitoring.

@@Roll2Videos yeah I have only seen one other competitor at this price…& they have the controlability & monitoring for near $90 more hopefully the bms manufacturer can do it or they switch to another manufacturer that has similar specs and functionality.

Hey my friend i have a question from a Novice .How do i check the amperage with one of those clamp on Amp meters from 4 -12v batteries in parallel. New they were 40Amps each but i bought these used and I'm curious what's the amperage i have left. I should get one of those meters that i see everyone using, hooked up to the shunt. Hello 😊 The clamp on won't keep track of the amps. You'll need a shunt to measure how many amps you use.
