No matter how much he is being paid, I’m sure he’s much happier working for Robbie. Here, he can take time to get the job done perfectly, rather than working in a body shop where he is under constant pressure to work faster to make more money for the business. Money is everything, at least to most people.
Here's a small hint from a machinist. When you are using a larger drill bit you want use a slower speed and constant feed . This along with cutting fluid will keep the drill cooler and last longer. I hope this helps in the future. Cool bread van build!
I gotta say, Sean is a BEAST to have on the team! His work is amazing and he is always willing to help and teach! Great guy ya got on the team Robbie! You guys n gals make a great family team! Keep up the awesomeness that is you all!
This is pretty cool to see how far you guys have come since building the Broncstar & adding Shawn to your team. The builds have gone to another level. Thank you for sharing & all the hard work & time you all put in.
Colton was an awesome addition to the team. I still prefer Hillbilly (Tyler). He’s got so much simple common sense that so many people lack these days. I can’t forget Demri. Her smile, laugh, and also common sense make her the BOSS!!
“Without the Hollywood b.s. shorn”???? I tried to translate but even google doesn’t understand this comment. If English is your second language, you’re doing great. If not? Slow down and think on what you want to say next time
The fan girls are at it again. Can't even give helpful advice that is clearly needed. If course you have to have used tools to know that. Isn't there a Taylor Swift concert somewhere they should be obsessing over.
Hillbilly has skills to get things done, Sean makes it secure, Colton captures the work while assisting, and Robby has the tools to create anything necessary for what is needed
I own that identical tool and I didn’t know that thank you Colton for showing us how to change the modes on that half inch and three-quarter inch Milwaukee M 12 impact buddy thank you
The build looks amazing! Can’t wait until it is truly sema ready! Even if Ian is trying to throw some shade yalls way. Oh, and check your mail, surprise for hillbilly should get there any day
Robby, check out a Starlink Mini as an accessory for your build. Internet/Wifi with enough bandwidth to supply the complete camp. Works anywhere, even works while moving, just need to see the sky. Wifi calling, one component to power with a small amp draw. No cell service in our area so this is great.
small change in channel has me pretty happy, seems these videos come out on alternative dates to fab rats and matts, so i have more time to watch everyone's!
Spiral point drill bits from Viking tool or the Norseman brand, same thing. Made on the same machines, I know this because I did CNC maintenance there. And yeah like dude said earlier, speeds and feeds bro....speeds and feeds....
I hope y'all are paying Shawn a small fortune. That dude has massive talent.
He should be getting paid a medium fortune.

@@stevendouglas6593 The dude clearly takes pride in his work and it shows in the final product. Something you do not see as much in this day and age.
He is a asset 😎
. Yep, this channel is done without him
Shawn's craftmanship is awe inspiring. I don't know how you found him, but you better take good careof that guy.
Ehhhh dime a dozen. (Ease up on the praise or Robby will have to pay him
More)
Sean is a master fabricator, good work Sean.

Nice to see you guys

Sean was an awesome addition to the team.
"I dont Give up... i always win" - My Man !
He loves these challenges, he'll have it done in no time.
But also knows his limitations " I can't cut straight to save my life."
Robby, the Boss, and their Little Lady Boss are one lovely family. Hilly Billy and team are a great complement. I love Robby Layton Nation!
You forgot Robby and the Boss's little boy
@@raymondkidwell2338...and their older boy
This build quality is head and shoulders above the other competitors in this build challenge....awesome job Layton Nation crew !!
That Boston accent was your best worst Australian.
That's what I thought
Nothing like a Boston accent, not even close !
Its Bostonians. What do they teach you in those Utah public schools
That logo looks good, nice work Shawn.
Shawn is a valuable employee with skills!!!
whoa - Sean is a expert metal MAN...
Shawn's Fab skills are unreal !
Machinist here. Run that drill bit way slower. Like 100 rpm. Heat is your enemy. When in doubt, slow it down.
4:40 Colton, always looking out for wildlife.
colton always checking out the boss 37:53 we enjoy the view too but robby your boss bro
Hillbilly always cracks me up. Great craftsmanship too.
Wow Sean great to see what metal skills you have. Always amazing to see what you create. Great job
So glad Sean has warmed up to the camera because he is on the next level and I would love to see a lot more how he does it
I know you are also putting a new donor motor in my 69 Charger too……you guys rock
My Charger!
Everything you guys are doing so far is looking very slick. Keep up the good work.
Great to see Shawn speaking more and the work he does is amazing. Great build team!
I miss when we use to watch paint dry
Dude Shawn is amazing! He makes metal working look easy! lol that was not a Boston accent.
Keep up with the good work love watching you on UA-cam God bless Robby an team
Shawn fits, right in! I do believe his fabricating skills are unlimited! You guys got a great team! Catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
Watching Hillbilly , Colten and Shawn work is peaceful mellow and enjoyable
That’s just brilliant workmanship all round well done
You have some massive talent at your shop. All around good guys, you sir are truly blessed
I WISH I HAD A TEACHER LIKE SHAWN BACK WHEN I WAS YOUNGER AND WORKING.
Like the new release time. Brisbane Australia.
We want a tee shirt with the three monkeys. Classic.
It has to at least go on the wall in the shop.

All those Milwaukee tools and you don't have the portable bandsaw! What's up with that??? Their bandsaw is amazing
They need a 4ft metal band saw not a portable
Man I love this channel!!!!!!!!!
Robbie, Shawn is a great hire! His work is amazing!
Shawn is incredible.
shawn is great, glad he is now warming up to the camera
I appreciate all the comments from the craftsmen ! I have learned a lot from reading them.
Shawn is the man!
we really need to see more Shawn! That man has got some talent!
This guy doing the beed rolling he knows what he's doing with out the Hollywood b.s. shorn
“Without the Hollywood b.s. shorn”???? I tried to translate but even google doesn’t understand this comment. If English is your second language, you’re doing great. If not? Slow down and think on what you want to say next time
Thank you Robby and crew for the update on the OnX OffRoad build !
Drill press motor is going too fast, spin slow for big steel holes and use regular motor oil. Or burn bits like crazy, you pick
Or you can keep your comments on how to do their job to yourself.
Their drill press should have a speed control or different belt pulleys . At the high speeds the bit can't cut the metal
Wax works very well for bit lubricant.
Speed and feed!

Thought Robby was trying to sound like he was from Down Under until he said Boston. 😁😆🤣😂
Hillbilly has skills to get things done, Sean makes it secure, Colton captures the work while assisting, and Robby has the tools to create anything necessary for what is needed
Thank you Shawn! Maybe Robby will complete a Project..! 🤭
It's coming along. The side panels that Shawn did are freakin amazing looking.
Shawn has done some pretty good stuff since he's been there, ya done good.................................
What I would give to have the fabrication talent Shawn has. Absolutely beautiful work!
Shawn/Sean is just cool.
There is expert level, and about ten levels up there is Sean.
Sean (Shawn) you’re an absolute wizard!
OMG at around 37:30, when you went Pano was CLASSIC!
Great job again.
I think Shawn keeps you guys in Check Robbi! Good video! Fun stuff..
You're no BOSTONIAN Robby but we love ya regardless! This van is gonna be awesome. 🚐
so hope you are keeping a build diary for the Charger as that will be a masterclass from Shawn
The "We-Team" commonly referred to as "Shawn - The Metal Magician" 👍
Amazing what an adult on the team can do. Go Sean! (Shawn?) (Schon?)
Great progress on the bread van! Lookin' good!
I own that identical tool and I didn’t know that thank you Colton for showing us how to change the modes on that half inch and three-quarter inch Milwaukee M 12 impact buddy thank you
Robby builds everything with 3 tools. Channel locks, plyers and a screwdriver
Such a cool looking build. Looking forward to more videos.
The build looks amazing! Can’t wait until it is truly sema ready! Even if Ian is trying to throw some shade yalls way. Oh, and check your mail, surprise for hillbilly should get there any day
Hang on, Shawn is narrating and amazing fabricating at the same time!!!!! Don't ever let that guy go.
It was also awesome to meet robby and Colton up in Connecticut. Thanks guys.
great as always great content very entertaining and fun
I like that Shawn is buying into speaking on camera. Talent, skill and experience like him is hard to find now a days.
STAND STILL! Getting motion sick!
Ls/ Lt motors you can tell by the valley cover if they drop cylinders, if the valley cover is smooth they don't if it has the ridges they do
Thanks for sharing 😀👍
Drill press spinning a little too fast used motor oil works good as a lubricant. Excellent job Fairless✌❤😆
Isn't a bread truck a cookie truck,
Cookie sponsor anyone?
Awesome fabrications.
Shawn is a real talent......keep him.
wow good job 8 bolts 👏
Awesome video
Looks nice. Haven't seen Bombi the cat for a while. Hope he's doing well.
Beautiful emblem Shawn
I could watch Sean/Shawn/Shaun fabricate all day on a live feed.
Robby, check out a Starlink Mini as an accessory for your build. Internet/Wifi with enough bandwidth to supply the complete camp. Works anywhere, even works while moving, just need to see the sky. Looking great
shawn is a metal master
Great Job Sean😊
Sean has earned more screen time, and a raise!
Awesome job everyone ❤
You should remove that cylinder deactivation system on that motor.
@@smplyizzy agreed 100%. A cam and lifters will make it super reliable’s
Budget, budget, budget…
If you’re from Boston you are a Bostonian. It was great to meet you at Stafford Speedway!!
Now this is more like it!
small change in channel has me pretty happy, seems these videos come out on alternative dates to fab rats and matts, so i have more time to watch everyone's!
Yes we moved to Tuesday and Thursdays
@@RobbyLayton you have no idea how much i love this little change, not sure about the crowd, but i'm down
Good Work Hillbilly and Colton Excellent job Shawn on the Metal work
This is looking so cool
Robbie at 19:16 quote "look how cute it is, it's so short and stubby". THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID.😂
Wow outstanding accent it was "wicked pissah"!!
Great video
Cobalt drill drilling low speed and keeping cool with fluid should save your bit.
Nice
