The people in the background are speaking dutch hahaha I almost got startled because I recognized what they were saying! lol interesting how they were also conversing about household/kitchen subjects; really added depth :)
To imagine the summer day outside, sun shining, the breeze in the grass, children playing, a horse with a wagon passing by.. I will use this as a lift me up. For years now, my deep wish, is to have a fireplace in the kitchen, like the one in the wall. Lovely dream! ✨
You too and its time to wake up, no more deep sleep 😉😁. Dont give in to all the fear, anger, judgement and division, be a positive change in the world. Lets meet and share some milk and cookies in the kitchen 🤗🍪🍪🍪🍪🥛🥛🥛🌻🐱
Oh, it makes me so happy to know that -- thank you so much for telling me! Please know that, every time you visit this kitchen, you are greeted by my best wishes for you.
Oh my god this makes me so happy. When I listen to this, I imagine a simple life for myself and that fills me up with such a strong feeling of warmth and peace. Thank you so much for all your effort!!
Nothing makes me happier than knowing that I have been able to offer "warmth and peace" to someone -- and nothing amazes me more than to know that I can do so through such a small creation as this! I think of my videos not as "work" or "effort" but as sharing and love. Thank you for receiving what is offered from my heart. :)
Exactly what I was looking for. More meal prepping sounds would be wonderful! Also, I would love a video with the sound of a sewing machine, scissors cutting fabric, etc.
How kind of you to say so! Being allergic to tobacco, I cannot even enjoy pleasant proximity to a pipe-smoker, but it sounds like a nice way to unwind.
Ambience of Yesteryear absolutely unwinding as an experience... pipe tobacco is a feast of fragrances and smells sublime and it really helps one to zoom in and focus on your dreams and contemplate the beauty of nature, the beauty present everywhere... moreover pipe tobacco, unlike any other tobacco, has special qualities to relax and expand ... it does create nitrous oxide in the brain enhancing its neurological activity, plus it is not breathed in, just puffed and therefore healthier than cigarettes... anyway, your site and pipes are a perfect match 😉✌️😄 I’m so looking forward to your next creation... sooo curious about what you’ll come up with this time 😁
Your work is so beautiful! As someone with anxiety I have to have background sound to be able to focus, and this is just right. Thanks for also explaining what an ambience video is intended to do--"rainbow noise" has a nice ring to it!
@@ambienceofyesteryear6871 it continues to be useful now! I would love to work in that kitchen--and you make my stupid isolation period feel a bit less lonely with the outdoor chatter. Thanks. May your hearthfire always crackle and your pots, pans, and canvases stay bright.

Thank you for your beautiful work, I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I'm hooked! I am truly grateful, your videos make me travel in time, connect to my imagination, walk through thousands of different worlds and for an introvert like me, this is pure bliss. Thank you again 💕💕💕
Thank you so much; it's an honor to be anyone's "favorite." :) Night scenes are at the top of my "to do" list, but they are tricky for me because I base my videos on real places (historical houses, living history museums, etc.) that tend to be closed to the public at night. Rest assured that I will keep trying, though!

Hello and welcome! Thank you for your kind comment and for subscribing; I'm so happy that you've found something you like in the videos I've shared here.
Arghh.. I know I'm being pedantic... but aren't those late 18th c windows? 17th c were much smaller - not least because of the price of glass. Fireplace is great though 👍
Although I thoroughly object to colonialism as a structure of power and oppression, of course, I will admit that some of the well-preserved colonial architecture is captivating. This summer kitchen in particular isn't from Williamsburg, but it is from a southern colony in what is now the US. Your imagination has guessed well! :)
It is Dutch primarily, though you may hear smatterings of Portuguese as well. I only know English and prefer background voices to speak in languages I don't understand; I sometimes end up using a random assortment. :)
Since you have made a few comments in this vein on a few different videos, I thought I should explain that, in the past, fires were usually part of everyday life regardless of season, used not only for heating but for cooking and dehumidifying. Fires were particularly important in kitchens (as depicted here), where food was prepared and cooked. (The fire in the oven on the right would only have been lit before something had to be baked, subsequently swept out so the food could be baked with the residual heat held in the oven's walls, but the main fire would have been kept burning throughout the day, though admittedly not as vigorously as I have chosen, for aesthetic reasons, to show it here.) The concept of a "summer kitchen" -- a separate building where cooking was done in warmer weather -- existed precisely because people wanted to avoid heating the rest of the house with the fires necessary for cooking. Fireplace sounds are present in most of my videos (not all, but most), reflecting the central importance that fire held in ordinary daily life. If this doesn't suit you, then I hope another ambience channel somewhere in the vast reaches of UA-cam will be able to offer you videos that will bring you joy!
The people in the background are speaking dutch hahaha I almost got startled because I recognized what they were saying! lol interesting how they were also conversing about household/kitchen subjects; really added depth :)
