I'm glad Sun Ying Hao spoke up. It sucks how none of the other judges said anything and it's disgusting how Seungi made Sun Ying Hao feel he was "impulsive" by speaking out. Idk who he is, but he's a "singer and actor" according to Google, but I I don't think he's ever been a K-pop idol. He himself said the trainees are training to be K-pop idols *not* K-pop artists. So, they're training to be K-pop idols, yet *he's* never been a K-pop idol, but he's judging them? That makes him sound pretty hypocritical tbh.

But, singing and dancing are different and I'm sure everyone knows which uses more energy. I like his acting but this was very insensitive of him he should have stayed in his own lane. As a former fan of X1 seeing hangyul like this os heartbreaking. He debuted on one of the biggest boy groups of 4th gen only for it to be taken away from him. And now im seeing him from one survival show to another still not giving up. Stay strong hangyul. This show is horrible prolly the worse survival show treatment I've seen and that's saying alot. Lee Seunggi's opinion is not relevant as he is not an IDOL, He is an ACTOR who can Sing. And when he said that concert that usually have 2hrs performing, doesn't he knows that within those two hours idols are not actually performing constantly. they have breaks, solo stages and even talking to the fans some if their performance during concert are just singing walking around engaging to the fans. so what they are doing in this survival show is not relevant but shows mistreatment towards these trainees, Even a veteran idols have some instances of collapsing, getting tired and even vomiting when they dance so much.

Muscles can either fire, or not fire; there is no in between and they cannot fire when they have run out of ATP, no matter how much a trainee wants to push through. With K-Pop already under scrutiny for mistreatment of trainees, I was shocked by the method of elimination the producers chose to use. It took great courage for Sun Ying Hao to speak up. The judges knew that the contestants ranged from years of dance experience to having no dance experience. It takes time for muscle tone to develop. I was also concerned that dancers were being pushed to exhaustion on narrow platforms, several stories high. There was nothing to prevent an exhausted trainee from stumbling over the edge. The judges also seemed to make several of the all star and 2 star trainees continue on far past when they had shown their abilities. It reached the point of looking like deliberate harassment so those trainees would become despondent; all to capture it for the viewing audience.

everyone has been talking about the horrible signal song, so i wanna make an emphasis on the xenophobia. syo, one of the contestants, was judged unfairly and given NO stars while the guiders were glazing on some others and calling them the best singers and dancers. im happy that in episode 2 the guiders gave him a just judgement.

Kudos to Sun Ying Hao’s bravery… he honestly didn’t have to apologize for that. It may seem like he didn’t change anything but he actually gave encouragement to those trainees. They were all tired and might’ve even considered giving up, but because he spoke up they at least realized that there were those who cheered on and cared for them. But seriously, were the trainees given some water at least cuz I didn’t see them drink any … even professional idols bring oxygen tanks during their concerts because of how exhausting it is but these trainees were given what? Seconds of rest! 😭
I disagree with you tho. The number of Korean trainees in that show are much smaller than global trainees. Even when they chose all stars seats, Korean trainees were being kicked out by voting and only one left. Almost all of them are Chinese.

How can he be part of this horrendous show and be like, this is a normal idol process? How quickly he forgot what it feels like to have your dreams dragged through the mud. It is clear that some contestants are far more prepared for a show like this, whereas others are not up to par. Why would you cast kids that will not match up? To humiliate them? Who the hell vetted these contestants? I don’t remember his name but, the one kid they all said was super handsome, I believe he was chinese, they even went as far as to asking him if he had had plastic surgery in front of everyone. HE’S A KID FOR CRISSAKE ! He said he only practiced for a couple of weeks? Poor kid. How can you compare him with others that have been training for years? So inhumanly unfair!

I couldn't watch this part with signal song. I watched this ep when it was uploaded, but I feel bad because of it even now. The show had such a great potential because of its contestants, but they failed it. I feel bad also because of Rex. He has really a lot of charisma. He can be taught how to dance and sing, but charisma isn't something you can learn.
i am a big fan of talent survival shows but if this is true, i am boycotting this show. this is not they way to train or select artistes. the panel should DEMONSTRATE first if they are really that PROFESSIONAL asking these boys to do it.

I believe the whole show should be investigated at this point especially the crew for allowing such mistreatment to go about especially when it’s being filmed live (I believe other shows are like this but this is one of the first or few worst cases I’ve encountered)

I was crying because i was heartbroken because the amount of times they danced and the less breaks they had, this survival show was amazing in the beginning but after this episode i dont think it will be amazing
The state of how this show treats its trainees did surprise me since the original Chinese version, _Idol Producer_ and _Youth With You,_ didn’t have the mistreatment issue. A lot of the mentors back then were actually praised by Korean idol survival shows for being gentle and patient, and I remember one case where they gently urged a feverish trainee to rest and checked on him in his dorms (iirc it was _Idol Producer,_ with Li Ronghao). I guess it’s still culturally different though… This show is primarily shot and managed by Korean staff and mentors, and kpop itself has established itself with an infamous reputation for putting a lot of pressure on its idols, both in training them to perfection but also in the standards for appearance and behaviour. China’s industry is a little different because China’s emphasis on a culture of sincerity has bled over to the industry. And I’m not saying Korean society is inherently more shallow or cruel-Korea just has quite an intense emphasis on the hierarchy system, so authority figures have to be treated very formally and have the final say. Even here with Sun Yinghao speaking out, he is a Chinese contestant and evidently felt brave enough to challenge the mentors’ authority. Either way, this isn’t a comment on which country or musical industry is better; just an expression of disappointment because I did actually enjoy _Idol Producer_ and _Youth With You_, along with the bands and artists they gave us (despite their own controversies with stuff like fan waste). I’ll also be wishing these trainees the best.
I have watched Youth with You and I was surprised by how different it was. They showed almost everyone’s auditions and judges reviewed each trainee even if they in a group. Because In Korean shows they often focus on just one or two trainees. Moreover the overall vibe was so relaxed but the trainees were still skilled and they worked hard. Korean society is very competitive, I don’t know much about China though.
That second episode was decidedly cruel. Who in the world would think that those who do worse will do better as they get more tired? It's so obvious that all they want is to attract viewers by watching shocking and unfortunate images. I was especially disappointed by Hui's role in the jury when they made Hangyul dance over and over again, a veteran in these types of contests, who has not only triumphed in some of them reaching the final formation, but also has a really consistent career as an idol, with which Hui, who was forced to participate in a similar program a season ago due to lack of work, could have perfectly empathized. Extreme cruelty without reason. I feel sorry for the contestants, but I will not watch it again, I will focus on project 7 where the jury seems to want the contestants to progress rather than make them suffer to get more viewers.
I think Hangyul was for ratings. I think he agreed to be in the bottom with people that cannot dance. Come on now. Let us use some discernment here. Hangyul is a top notch dancer!
I am not watching this show but I really wanted to support the trainees. It’s obvious that producers of this show are desperate to get attention by making trainees suffer. We all feel so bad for the trainees but this is exactly what the producers wanted. I don’t want to given them what they want and make this show successful but either ways the trainees are suffering.
I've said this before and I'm going to say this again, it is a collaboration show right? Between South Korea and China, it says so on wiki and mydramalist. Then why are all of the judges/mentors exclusively Korean (and non of them is known to be fluent in chinese as far as I know)? Especially with such high number of Chinese/Taiwanese trainees participating? It's marketed as a global show! Even on just Chinese shows in China there often were one or two foreign judges or Chinese judges active in other countries (like Lisa, The8, Ten or Jackson Wang).... Update: apparently Hui can speak Chinese - I don’t know how well - I somehow didn’t know that.
Have you watched SCOOL? It is Korean Taiwanese I believe. They have a mixed panel of judges and they have all episodes on youtube with eng subs. That show is much more lenient and easy to watch but it’s also because the trainees aren’t very well trained.
This way of eliminating contestant is pretty stupid as judging is not gonna be based on talents and skill anymore, a bit of pity and the contestants endurance might influence the judges which are all the wrong reasons to give idol trainees the chance to debut the judges and producers are stupid to agree to this.

Well, I also don't like lsg opinion about 'idols and training'. if lsg was a singer/idol/music producer/dancer then i would think a little about his opinion about 'idols and training', but lsg is an actor, yeah maybe lsg has sing in the past but he's more professional in the field of acting, so if this is actor/model casting event I will accept lsg opinion completely. lsg talks like he is an experienced idol he presents himself and is proud of his opinion, there are real idols among the mentors but they stays in they place. I have show since episode 1 that Isg prefer visuals rather than the quality of the singer on stage, so even if the trainees don't sing and dance optimally but their visuals are good, lsg will still choose them, but for participants who sing and dance optimally but their visuals or expressions If it's not enough, lsg will put them at the bottom of the list.
I agree with thr criticism Seungi is receiving for his words, scripted or not. But those calling for him to be thrown off the show? People, he did not create that test, the producers of the show did. The most fucked up here is the show and the showrunners, getting Seungi off is not gonna do anything because the people who created the cruel test will still be responsible for the rest of the show. Criticize Seungi but blame the real evil here and that are the producers. Also, Seungi shouldn't be the only one criticized, the other judges might not have spoken up when the trainee yelled stop but they also did not speak up about the crual test either and continued judging as if nothing was wrong.
@lululittlebox I don't think they are firing Seungi. No matter how much people complain. We should just focus on the trainees and support them. The excessive treatment? It was to garner attention. Most survival shows don't get as much traction as Mnet shows do so they are taking drastic steps. After all, even negative press is at the end of the day, still press. I wouldn't be surprised if Seungi was given the script to act as thr villain. We all know he is good at that. The show is not prioritising the trainees but we should. Hangyul is on his 4th or 5th survival now. I want to support him and I want to see him succeed.
Shows like these do such things for engagement and to bring attention to their future group. But I'll have to say, Kpop training system like these has a LOT of flaws. There's a healthy way to train. Even in concerts, idols take small breaks from time to time. They also train in a way where they learn how to save their strength until the end. This show is just brutal labour and another example of why we get so many videos like "Dark side of kpop" and idols coming out talking about their nightmares of being in the industry. There's a LONG list of idols and Trainee's who get mistreated in kpop industry. Not to mention, most Trainee's are minors. Shows like these thrive on creating controversies. That judge was just spitting bullsh*t to justify their behaviour in some way.

This is embarrassing, is it an endurance test ? I know concerts, can last for hours, but there are breaks and its scheduled to make the artists rest, here it’s like a punishment to to mention the pressure of the competition seeing others fall and others go on, the mentality is not at its best, but yeah Korean music industry is getting worse and worse, all they care about is money
Some breaks were longer (when the judges stopped to evaluate and choose the trainees for the next round), but still, from the images that were shown; some looked really bad and even crying. With those sweatpants that aren't cool and sweating a lot. I don't even know if they drank water (it didn't appear).
They each had a small bottle of water… but what’s worse is just that complete beginners had to dance like that. No dancer would do this because you can get easily problems with the kidney and muscles doing this.
This show just try to be 'different' from other survival show. Instead to film the signal song performance individually, they made them dance until they get chosen by the mentors and last 12 of them will be eliminated. This is brutal.
Yeah because during a concert you are consistently dancing for an hour 🙄. There are breaks to greet fans, slow songs with no dancing or songs without a choreo where performers are just having fun in between. Solos or prehaps unit prefomances as well. There are breaks longer than 30 seconds. So his reasoning is invalid.
stop wishing for this show to be cancelled. It’s already a good thing that people are calling them out for what they’ve done, but wishing for this show’s cancellation will just make the contestants face another failure in their idol career. Coz once it stopped, then no one will have a chance to debut, no one will be able to show what they are capable of and for sure they will have to join another survival program for the nth time.

Sometimes cancel culture can be way too far, but it’s reasonable why this show should be cancelled- they did an inhuman action. I do agree that they should keep the trainees and put them in another survival show.
@ It's easy to suggest placing these trainees in another survival show, but if we watch the entire episodes 1 and 2, most of the trainees mention that this is their last shot/last chance. If it were to be cancelled again, they would have to wait for a couple of months or, at worst, a year to have another survival show like this.

I also want to add that the judge commenting that concerts are like this is just sad. We’ve seen videos of idols like seventeen struggling to breathe and ending up in hospital because of how gruelling concerts are. This treatment isn’t normal. This industry isn’t normal. If this were a normal job, people would riot. These trainees are human so they need to be treated as human.
Seungi's justification was ridiculous. Idols can perform 30 songs in a show, but they are well prepared, stay hydrated and have long breaks between songs. And not all songs have heavy choreography. If they did it 6 times: ok. But it was +20x. I think almost 30 times.
I remembered an episode of Master in the house ,when Rain pranked idols by being hella strict and he was the one being so considerate towards them , now this thing makes me too sad towards him and idols too ,If they debut being lacking people will drown them in hate in face of criticism like Lee Serrafim ,jennie and lisa...🙂here they are being concerned,when this happened with Jennie ,she got hate for being lazy,I wished people to be concerned that time too

This is a very unfair way of selecting who will pass and who will get to be eliminated. Its already hard to focus on a group consist of 7 to 9 members, so how can the guiders able to wnatch all of the 69 trainees at once unless they already know who to watch first.

Being a kpop idols is a lot of hard work. It takes an years. It's not easy. But that hardships paysoff if their journey is good and a right one. It's the universal truth. So every system has ups and downs Korea has it's own diversity and a web. That's why lots of idols are being loved. In the end their sweat, dedication and hardwork are pays off.They are not the one to be hate. But when it's comes to this program, don't know where the problem is. Is it the judges and production team or contestants' lack of awareness of the hardships in the industry because of the naivenes of how training happens in kpop or really they were being exhausted by the program? There are two different sides. That's a lot to think in both sides. We have so much examples in recent past years people. Either it's a show's problem or this is something that being targetting the kpop culture. This makes some good things in to bad. Out there,there are lots of our favorite people's are performing and doing concerts. Either way what seeing here is not a good thing.
This is the most horrible idol show arrangement I've ever seen in my life. Those judges are too get used to the manipulating system, which might be due to their culture? This is pretty sick situation. No wonder there have been so many people choosing committed suicide in S. Korea, even famous idols and artists, as their had no helping hands. It is so hopeless to see people suffering and treating it as NORMAL. They could improve in many ways, but chosen the worst way. Their faces as cold as deep in the heart and pretending nothing happen with fake smiling face saying "Add oil". We may not blame the judges as they grow up like this and been brain-washed that is normal. They might not realise how inappropriate and crazy it is. Actually.. in professional dance environment.. sometimes, you are expected to dance for 2 hours continuously with just 5 minutes breaks in between... its how the industry works but yes, they're supposed to watch for the kids.. if they're tired, they're tired. give them a longer break.. or postpone the evaluation.
Why don't they invite a professional artists as a judge,, why this people??? Scool is more better than this show,,, why don't the judges perform for 30 minutes without taking a break... If they continue the show they might kill the contestants due to health issues,, so stop this show

Shows like these do such things for engagement and to bring attention to their future group. But I'll have to say, Kpop training system like these has a LOT of flaws. There's a healthy way to train. Even in concerts, idols take small breaks from time to time. They also train in a way where they learn how to save their strength until the end. This show is just brutal labour and another example of why we get so many videos like "Dark side of kpop" and idols coming out talking about their nightmares of being in the industry. There's a LONG list of idols and Trainee's who get mistreated in kpop industry. Not to mention, most Trainee's are minors. Shows like these thrive on creating controversies. That judge was just spitting bullsh*t to justify their behaviour in some way.
Sure keep promoting human rights violations within said industry yes one must train hard to attain a spot of being part of a group within industry BUT Seeing what happened to contestants in this show and how they’re (judges, host, crew members) are mistreating their idols LIVE ON CAMERA FOR THE WORLD TO SEE) and some fainting, having asthma attacks, as well as THE CONTESTANTS THEMSELVES SPEAKING UP HOW TERRIBLE IT WAS Should definitely be taken seriously and not be ridiculed by people like you 🙄

I doubt he will debut. He is only there as a cannon fodder. He is too effeminate for the mainstream, especially if he wants to debut in Korea. This is the reality of mainstream entertainment. He'd have more success being a Douyin model/content creator (he'll also be happier because he can be himself).

I'm glad Sun Ying Hao spoke up. It sucks how none of the other judges said anything and it's disgusting how Seungi made Sun Ying Hao feel he was "impulsive" by speaking out. Idk who he is, but he's a "singer and actor" according to Google, but I I don't think he's ever been a K-pop idol. He himself said the trainees are training to be K-pop idols *not* K-pop artists. As a former fan of X1 seeing hangyul like this os heartbreaking. He debuted on one of the biggest boy groups of 4th gen only for it to be taken away from him. And now im seeing him from one survival show to another still not giving up. Stay strong hangyul. This show is horrible prolly the worse survival show treatment I've seen and that's saying alot. Lee Seunggi's opinion is not relevant as he is not an IDOL, He is an ACTOR who can Sing. And when he said that concert that usually have 2hrs performing, doesn't he knows that within those two hours idols are not actually performing constantly. they have breaks, solo stages and even talking to the fans some if their performance during concert are just singing walking around engaging to the fans. so what they are doing in this survival show is not relevant but shows mistreatment towards these trainees, Even a veteran idols have some instances of collapsing, getting tired and even vomiting when they dance so much.

Muscles can either fire, or not fire; there is no in between and they cannot fire when they have run out of ATP, no matter how much a trainee wants to push through. With K-Pop already under scrutiny for mistreatment of trainees, I was shocked by the method of elimination the producers chose to use. It took great courage for Sun Ying Hao to speak up. The judges knew that the contestants ranged from years of dance experience to having no dance experience. It takes time for muscle tone to develop. I was also concerned that dancers were being pushed to exhaustion on narrow platforms, several stories high. There was nothing to prevent an exhausted trainee from stumbling over the edge. The judges also seemed to make several of the all star and 2 star trainees continue on far past when they had shown their abilities. It reached the point of looking like deliberate harassment so those trainees would become despondent; all to capture it for the viewing audience.

everyone has been talking about the horrible signal song, so i wanna make an emphasis on the xenophobia. syo, one of the contestants, was judged unfairly and given NO stars while the guiders were glazing on some others and calling them the best singers and dancers. im happy that in episode 2 the guiders gave him a just judgement.

Kudos to Sun Ying Hao’s bravery… he honestly didn’t have to apologize for that. It may seem like he didn’t change anything but he actually gave encouragement to those trainees. They were all tired and might’ve even considered giving up, but because he spoke up they at least realized that there were those who cheered on and cared for them.
But seriously, were the trainees given some water at least cuz I didn’t see them drink any … even professional idols bring oxygen tanks during their concerts because of how exhausting it is but these trainees were given what? Seconds of rest! 😭

Everyone is talking about Lee Seung Gi, but…..what about Hui ? He just came out from a reality survival show not too long ago . How can he be part of this horrendous show and be like, this is a normal idol process? How quickly he forgot what it feels like to have your dreams dragged through the mud. It is clear that some contestants are far more prepared for a show like this, whereas others are not up to par. Why would you cast kids that will not match up? To humiliate them? Who the hell vetted these contestants? I don’t remember his name but, the one kid they all said was super handsome, I believe he was chinese, they even went as far as to asking him if he had had plastic surgery in front of everyone. HE’S A KID FOR CRISSAKE ! He said he only practiced for a couple of weeks? Poor kid. How can you compare him with others that have been training for years? So inhumanly unfair!

The show had such a great potential because of its contestants, but they failed it. I feel bad also because of Rex. He has really a lot of charisma. The state of how this show treats its trainees did surprise me since the original Chinese version, _Idol Producer_ and _Youth With You,_ didn’t have the mistreatment issue. A lot of the mentors back then were actually praised by Korean idol survival shows for being gentle and patient, and I remember one case where they gently urged a feverish trainee to rest and checked on him in his dorms (iirc it was _Idol Producer,_ with Li Ronghao).
I guess it’s still culturally different though… This show is primarily shot and managed by Korean staff and mentors, and kpop itself has established itself with an infamous reputation for putting a lot of pressure on its idols, both in training them to perfection but also in the standards for appearance and behaviour.
China’s industry is a little different because China’s emphasis on a culture of sincerity has bled over to the industry. And I’m not saying Korean society is inherently more shallow or cruel-Korea just has quite an intense emphasis on the hierarchy system, so authority figures have to be treated very formally and have the final say.
Even here with Sun Yinghao speaking out, he is a Chinese contestant and evidently felt brave enough to challenge the mentors’ authority.
Either way, this isn’t a comment on which country or musical industry is better; just an expression of disappointment because I did actually enjoy _Idol Producer_ and _Youth With You_, along with the bands and artists they gave us (despite their own controversies with stuff like fan waste). I’ll also be wishing these trainees the best.
Idol Produce and Youth With You is TOP-TIER, the best survival shows ever. Never watched any Korean survival shows since the RIGGED Produce48.
I have watched Youth with You and I was surprised by how different it was. They showed almost everyone’s auditions and judges reviewed each trainee even if they in a group. Because In Korean shows they often focus on just one or two trainees. Moreover the overall vibe was so relaxed but the trainees were still skilled and they worked hard. Korean society is very competitive, I don’t know much about China though.
That second episode was decidedly cruel. Who in the world would think that those who do worse will do better as they get more tired? It's so obvious that all they want is to attract viewers by watching shocking and unfortunate images. I was especially disappointed by Hui's role in the jury when they made Hangyul dance over and over again, a veteran in these types of contests, who has not only triumphed in some of them reaching the final formation, but also has a really consistent career as an idol, with which Hui, who was forced to participate in a similar program a season ago due to lack of work, could have perfectly empathized. Extreme cruelty without reason. I feel sorry for the contestants, but I will not watch it again, I will focus on project 7 where the jury seems to want the contestants to progress rather than make them suffer to get more viewers.
I think Hangyul was for ratings. I think he agreed to be in the bottom with people that cannot dance. Come on now. Let us use some discernment here. Hangyul is a top notch dancer!
I am not watching this show but I really wanted to support the trainees. It’s obvious that producers of this show are desperate to get attention by making trainees suffer. We all feel so bad for the trainees but this is exactly what the producers wanted. I don’t want to given them what they want and make this show successful but either ways the trainees are suffering.
I've said this before and I'm going to say this again, it is a collaboration show right? Between South Korea and China, it says so on wiki and mydramalist. Then why are all of the judges/mentors exclusively Korean (and non of them is known to be fluent in chinese as far as I know)? Especially with such high number of Chinese/Taiwanese trainees participating? It's marketed as a global show! Even on just Chinese shows in China there often were one or two foreign judges or Chinese judges active in other countries (like Lisa, The8, Ten or Jackson Wang)....

Have you watched SCOOL? It is Korean Taiwanese I believe. They have a mixed panel of judges and they have all episodes on youtube with eng subs. That show is much more lenient and easy to watch but it’s also because the trainees aren’t very well trained.

if lsg was a singer/idol/music producer/dancer then i would think a little about his opinion about 'idols and training', but lsg is an actor, yeah maybe lsg has sing in the past but he's more professional in the field of acting, so if this is actor/model casting event I will accept lsg opinion completely.
lsg talks like he is an experienced idol he presents himself and is proud of his opinion, there are real idols among the mentors but they stays in they place.
I have show since episode 1 that Isg prefer visuals rather than the quality of the singer on stage, so even if the trainees don't sing and dance optimally but their visuals are good, lsg will still choose them, but for participants who sing and dance optimally but their visuals or expressions If it's not enough, lsg will put them at the bottom of the list.

I agree with thr criticism Seungi is receiving for his words, scripted or not. But those calling for him to be thrown off the show? People, he did not create that test, the producers of the show did. The most fucked up here is the show and the showrunners, getting Seungi off is not gonna do anything because the people who created the cruel test will still be responsible for the rest of the show. Criticize Seungi but blame the real evil here and that are the producers. @lululittlebox I don't think they are firing Seungi. No matter how much people complain. We should just focus on the trainees and support them. The excessive treatment? It was to garner attention. Most survival shows don't get as much traction as Mnet shows do so they are taking drastic steps. After all, even negative press is at the end of the day, still press. I wouldn't be surprised if Seungi was given the script to act as thr villain. We all know he is good at that. The show is not prioritising the trainees but we should. Hangyul is on his 4th or 5th survival now. I want to support him and I want to see him succeed.

I'll have to say, Kpop training system like these has a LOT of flaws. There's a healthy way to train. Even in concerts, idols take small breaks from time to time. They also train in a way where they learn how to save their strength until the end. This show is just brutal labour and another example of why we get so many videos like "Dark side of kpop" and idols coming out talking about their nightmares of being in the industry. There's a LONG list of idols and Trainee's who get mistreated in kpop industry. Not to mention, most Trainee's are minors. Shows like these thrive on creating controversies. That judge was just spitting bullsh*t to justify their behaviour in some way.
Lee Seung Gi is an actor and a ballad singer who does not dance through a 1 to 2 hour concerts like K-pop groups do. Who was he to say they couldn't be tired yet?
I was actually crying when watching it like it just hurt me ,i think it was about 19 to 20 times they danced i don't know but its too cruel especially that boy with curly brown hair when he was dancing with all his might and still got eliminated,i think xinche should be eliminated not that boy ,the show is just too unfair,and when sun ying hao spoke up i Really liked but what lee seungi said I really hated it, he mad ying hao felt guilty for speaking out the truth ❤❤ idol are human not machine okay

This is embarrassing, is it an endurance test ? Some breaks were longer (when the judges stopped to evaluate and choose the trainees for the next round), but still, from the images that were shown; some looked really bad and even crying. With those sweatpants that aren't cool and sweating a lot. I don't even know if they drank water (it didn't appear).
They each had a small bottle of water… but what’s worse is just that complete beginners had to dance like that. No dancer would do this because you can get easily problems with the kidney and muscles doing this.

This show just try to be 'different' from other survival show. Instead to film the signal song performance individually, they made them dance until they get chosen by the mentors and last 12 of them will be eliminated. This is brutal.

Yeah because during a concert you are consistently dancing for an hour 🙄. There are breaks to greet fans, slow songs with no dancing or songs without a choreo where performers are just having fun in between. Solos or prehaps unit prefomances as well. There are breaks longer than 30 seconds. So his reasoning is invalid.

It’s already a good thing that people are calling them out for what they’ve done, but wishing for this show’s cancellation will just make the contestants face another failure in their idol career. Coz once it stopped, then no one will have a chance to debut, no one will be able to show what they are capable of and for sure they will have to join another survival program for the nth time.

Sometimes cancel culture can be way too far, but it’s reasonable why this show should be cancelled- they did an inhuman action. I do agree that they should keep the trainees and put them in another survival show.
@ It's easy to suggest placing these trainees in another survival show, but if we watch the entire episodes 1 and 2, most of the trainees mention that this is their last shot/last chance. If it were to be cancelled again, they would have to wait for a couple of months or, at worst, a year to have another survival show like this.

I also want to add that the judge commenting that concerts are like this is just sad. We’ve seen videos of idols like seventeen struggling to breathe and ending up in hospital because of how gruelling concerts are. This treatment isn’t normal. This industry isn’t normal. If this were a normal job, people would riot. These trainees are human so they need to be treated as human.
Seungi's justification was ridiculous. Idols can perform 30 songs in a show, but they are well prepared, stay hydrated and have long breaks between songs. And not all songs have heavy choreography. If they did it 6 times: ok. But it was +20x. I think almost 30 times.
I remembered an episode of Master in the house ,when Rain pranked idols by being hella strict and he was the one being so considerate towards them , now this thing makes me too sad towards him and idols too ,If they debut being lacking people will drown them in hate in face of criticism like Lee Serrafim ,jennie and lisa...🙂here they are being concerned,when this happened with Jennie ,she got hate for being lazy,I wished people to be concerned that time too

This is a very unfair way of selecting who will pass and who will get to be eliminated. Its already hard to focus on a group consist of 7 to 9 members, so how can the guiders able to wnatch all of the 69 trainees at once unless they already know who to watch first.

Being a kpop idols is a lot of hard work. It takes an years. It's not easy.
But that hardships paysoff if their journey is good and a right one. It's the universal truth. So every system has ups and downs
Korea has it's own diversity and a web. That's why lots of idols are being loved. In the end their sweat, dedication and hardwork are pays off.They are not the one to be hate.
But when it's comes to this program, don't know where the problem is. Is it the judges and production team or contestants' lack of awareness of the hardships in the industry because of the naivenes of how training happens in kpop or really they were being exhausted by the program? There are two different sides. That's a lot to think in both sides. We have so much examples in recent past years people.
Either it's a show's problem or this is something that being targetting the kpop culture. This makes some good things in to bad.
Out there,there are lots of our favorite people's are performing and doing concerts. Either way what seeing here is not a good thing.

This is pretty sick situation. No wonder there have been so many people choosing committed suicide in S. Korea, even famous idols and artists, as their had no helping hands. It is so hopeless to see people suffering and treating it as NORMAL.
They could improve in many ways, but chosen the worst way. Their faces as cold as deep in the heart and pretending nothing happen with fake smiling face saying "Add oil".
