    At 102 mins where you ask about the stressed person and if they took all the right supplements but didn’t take away the stressor. I want to add to that. I have had fatigue , low mood but fast analytical brain wired and very tired and found high copper levels. It wasn’t until recently when I found magnesium would help that I was able to stand up to a person that was controlling and manipulative towards me. I could not make good clear decisions or stick up for myself while I was depleted but once I started supplementing properly I was able to choose better if I wanted this person around and my assert my boundaries. They left my life pretty quick once that dynamic changed.

    I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that this website is essential viewing. I live in rural, small-town Western Australia and buy meat directly from organic farmers (1/4 side of beef, etc.). I am now very keen to get the HTMA and was surprised to see a provider in my nearest regional centre offers this. I just need to compare what they provide with what I've seen on your website. But really, thank you for all the work you do. There's nobody else out there providing this level of information, and which in my opinion should be mandatory in schools.

      Why things have become so complicated I believe is we got away from proper food, we let chemicals be introduced to our food, we eat toxic sprays on food, our education system took us away from the natural diet, we became "modern" by getting away from farming, etc. It's a long list we can blame ourselves for really. Why we think our bodies will be healthy with chemicals being injected into meat is beyond me in this day and age of "high learning." Seems we like distractions more than our own health and well being.

      How did things get so complicated? Well first now we want to live to at least 70yo not 30-35 like people back in the day + all the chemicals that are everywhere from air, water, food.. Unnatural diet, life style all that makes it very hard for the body to maintain balance of things inside for healthy 70-90yo life.. Therefore you have to keep eye on what is going on in your body. What you need more and what you have in toxic amounts. If modern medical system was not about making money will would already have good system in place where they easily test you. See what you need to detox and what you need to eat/take and you will be fine. But that doesn't make them any money + they don't want overpopulation so that's why people who want to stay healthy need to manage their body on their own.. It's sad but it is what it is..

    i think Morley Robbin's view is better, we become copper toxic because the copper that we contain is not bioavailable, instead of saying that we are copper toxic and moving on, we should turn the "toxic copper" into bioavailable one.

    • @Traders_Paradigm
      @Traders_Paradigm 3 роки тому +4

      It is pretty complicated. Probably depends on the person. I feel worse following Morley's reccomendations including eating liver.

    • @garothetruther2571
      @garothetruther2571 3 роки тому +4

      @@Traders_Paradigm have you been donating blood? Have you done the first 3 steps of his protocol for at least 3 months before even starting eating beef liver? Because if you don’t have all the minerals and enzymes necessary to have bioavailable copper, and then when you eat beef liver you copper can’t be bioavailable and you accumulate it, and that’s why you become “copper toxic” also if you have iron overload “you can’t possibly teat for it” unless you do a tissue biopsy you will react to high iron foods, also if you don’t have bioavailable copper “different than copper in your tissue” and low ceruloplasmin you will have histamine intolerance and beef liver can give histamine reactions.

    • @garothetruther2571
      @garothetruther2571 3 роки тому +5

      @@Traders_Paradigm also if your body is under so much stress from medications and antibiotics that will also break down the ceruloplasmin and make copper leach out from it to the tissues causing “copper toxicity” also if you have iron overload that will also break down ceruloplasmin and leach copper to the tissues, saying you are copper toxic is like putting a band aid, while maybe eating less copper will make you feel better it is not solving the root cause.

    You >>>NEED to get an HTMA test. Do >>>NOT supplement based on instincts. I'm a chemist who thought I could "infer" deficiencies based on how I felt taking an isolated mineral. Then I got my first HTMA & realized I nearly killed myself over supplementing boron, zinc & molybdenum. My copper levels were nearly non-existent. So was my iron even though I took iron. My chromium was low, sulfur low, I also have mercury & antimony toxicity. I DID suspect I had low copper as isolated copper always made me feel good, and zinc made me spacey / tired. But I was SO AFRAID of copper poisoning that I always took more zinc than I should have. I also suspected I had mercury poisoning from almagams. Which I did. But my antimony was twice as high as my mercury which was a huge surprise. I just drank a glass of 8 mg copper... I feel awesome now. Gonna up my iron, chromium, sulfur, everything I was low on. Will get my levels up. No more zinc, boron or molybdenum for a loong time. Then I'm gonna start chelating the heavy metals out. You can order these tests on amazon. They're like $130 it is the best $ you'll ever spend in your life.

    are you aware of the impact of copper excess in the human gut? investigate it please. Mineral rebalancing is just one of many ways to influence the homeostasis of the body. Id argue its a power avenue to influence the body, as well as some other are powerful avenues, but i would say with more knowledge about the other avenues upon which to influence the body, like with proper probiotics (strain specific), proper healing chemicals (lauric acid for example), proper nutrition and digestive function (supplementing methyl B's and betaine HCL for example), we can directly and VERY powerfully influence the bodily systems, and in such a way which SUPPORTS natural function rather than hinders it like so many (99.9%) pharmaceuticals do. Im beginning to fall in love with this avenue for health, through mineral balancing, but i really want to see it discussed mroe from the true whole-istic viewpoint. Again, a great example to start with is how copper influences estrogen, candida, and other mineral levels within the body, as well as symptoms of copper dumping, symptoms of how copper and vitamin c interact while there are active chronic infections, many of which most people dont even know they have (known as stealth infection; ex: bartonella, mycoplasma, parasites, low-levels of gut bugs like clostridia, klebsiella, and various other formats for gut disease (H2S, methane, ammonia toxicities,etc), etc). We have the pieces to the whole-istic puzzle. its time we put them all together. Great talk, thanks for all the data. just purchased Dr Watts book! excited to study it!

      you might look into this book: The Complete Copper Toxicity Handbook: How a common copper imbalance could be impacting your health, energy, and mood... ...and how to address it! -- author: Rick Fischer (copyright 2023) -- forward written by: Dr. Richard Malter, PhD. I haven't looked indepth into it yet, such as reading lots of reviews. Also, I don't know how to evaluate the merits of this book (e.g., is it the "ultimate (final) word" on the subject ; highest level of expertise and knowledge? , or is it just some person's opinion, and not as well informed, or well founded, as would be hoped for?) I'll let you draw your own conclusions.
      Dr. Peter Osborne has some interesting videos on Copper, on this platform, that you might like to watch/ listen to, also.
      He seems to have a pretty comprehensive base of knowledge (i.e., "to know a lot"!), cites many studies, and is a good communicator. IMHO, that is. His lectures are easy to follow, but loaded with lots of information. I learn a lot from him.

    HTMA is a good health monitor, but HTMA nutrition advice doesn't work. There is no such thing as adrenal fatigue. But there is hypothyroid caused by K deficiency.
    Ray Peat philosophy actually heals thyroid, which restores abundant natural energy from sugar, which relieves adrenals from emergency energy production, which allows minerals to balance themselves, which allows HGH to rise so body and mind can heal and return to peace.
    Every nursing student knows that potassium follows sugar into cells, but sugar is global enemy #1. No! and Ray Peat convincingly proves otherwise.
    Eat the fruit you crave, and eschew "#science"
