Just bought a SL1200 in bad shape, the tone arm is dead but the motor/platter is fine. The magnet rotor is quite tired and I'm gonna try to make a custom hallbach array with neodimium and put the stator on my proto lathe. As always your work is very helpfull. Deep respect, wish you the best.
@@rogfusionkid Full Platter Motor system. I can scale the bldc motor design. I plan to make one to drive my VMS70. This video goes over the monolithic analog feedback speed regulation circuit I created. Next video will show the PLL version. Not quite ready to show yet. Too much else going on. Which is good. Trust me :-) Thanks again for stopping by!

Size requirement for most hallbach arrays make them less than useful in cutterheads. Good luck
Nice work man! I'm already subscribed but I'm just a voyeur these days. I had to abandon my record cutting ambitions unfortunately.
Thanks for subscribing! Nice to hear from you Fusionkid!
@@opcode66 You've got the potential for a nice boutique turntable there.
