- It's a rare day for the wildlife hospital, with the admission of a little platypus. It is up to Dr. Rosie and the team to work out what has gone wrong for little Billie, and how we can give her the best chance for recovery.

About Wildlife Warriors -
We are Wildlife Warriors. We fight for an extremely important cause - to protect our wildlife and wild places! Join us on our missions as we follow in the footsteps of the original Wildlife Warrior, Steve Irwin, and continue the work that he was so passionate about.
From tigers in Sumatra and cheetahs in Africa, to saltwater crocodiles and koalas in Australia. The ultimate mission is to save one, save the species.

Thank you for helping this precious platypus. I pray that she has a complete recovery.
Me too.
this kind of reminds me of Perry the platypus

Truly an amazing, selfless career. 🙏❤️
It’s impossible to show enough appreciation for people in careers like this. ❤️ 👏 Thank you a million times to all the good people who have, are, and will work in the medical field.
I really hope we're going to get an update at some point on this gorgeous little creature. 👍👍👍👌👌👌😁😁😁
Aww
Based on how the little platypus goes on its right side, it may have suffered trauma to the left side of the cerebellum
Thank you for taking care of this little beauty ❤
The study is fantastic, but it is a pity that there is no final conclusion.
Nawwww i want pat it 🥺🥺🥺🥺 soo adorable!! 🥰✨
Id be afraid to touch it, but it's cool someone out there's helping them
I’m pretty sure only male platypus are venomous? So I think she’d be safe to touch. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Oh that's wonderful news!! I love her! You're so lucky to get to be around those wonderful animals! Thank you for taking care of yet another beautiful animal in our world 💟💟💟💟
Fantastic news the little girl looks so sweet and all I wanted to do is give her a kiss and a cuddle and hope that she makes a full recovery, my eyes began to fill up before we got the great news, I hope she goes on to make it back to her pal's and continues to live her life as she should, thank you Australia Zoo for caring you are all worth your weight in gold.
Dr. Rosie is an amazing vet!
Wow! I didn't expect the blood draw ro come from the bill!
What a cool animal.
Absolutely beautiful!!
Good luck to this little sweetie! This reminds me of a kitten we rescued that had muscle and brain damage. She walked like a Komodo dragon, often shook her head and fell over, and would stumble a lot. But dang she was a sassy girl. And a tough one too. We found her when she was only about a week old. She had damage to the back of her neck and head and then got a secondary abscess in the muscle tissue in her neck which thankfully was knocked out with having it drained then daily cleaning with betadine and oral antibiotics. I hope this lil lady makes a recovery.
Thank you.
i love how everybody at australia zoo cares soo much about these unique animals

Platypus to me are so beautiful. Hope she makes it.
In Spain it’s 0 o‘clock now
I have o only ever seen a wild one once in a little river!
We love your videos we have seen to robit bindy
Would love an update on this precious baby! its been a few months now!
For some reason I always thought platypuses were larger. How big do they get?
The size of a platypus is due to its climate and food, further south they grow much bigger. Tasmanian playtypus can grow about three times larger than this little girl.
Spinal taps make me cringe no matter which human or species it is.
I observed 2 in my days working in a hospital. 😬
Platypuses are fascinating.
how did the recovery go? Could your give us an update?
I have to work with you guys
Will she be okay 👌?
So cute
so cute 😍💓💗💕💖☺😍💓💗💕💖☺😍
Be careful she might wear a fedora and work as a secret agent when ur not looking
Bonitinho.
Cute
i feel sad
Can’t you get a new platypus in case this one doesn’t make it?
Cute little baby but don't they have a poisonous spur behind their leg?
No not the females, only the male platypuses has that poisonous spur close to each leg, the female platypuses doesn’t have any spurs at all so they’re completely safe to handle and cuddle with❤️
*gasps* perry the platypus
i am 12 years old and in srilanka and i want to work in australia zoo someday
👍♥️♥️♥️🇵🇭
So the title is what happened to her... then they don't say what happened to her...
They specifically said that she is improving at the end of the vid. And that she doesn't have the parasite that they were concerned she may have. Idk I feel like they told us a fair bit about her journey. Wouldn't doubt that there will be a 2nd part.
