Wow! One of the best video I've ever seen. It makes me look pretty foolish. After passing a few lava fields in other states, I came to believe that every one is just another one like several I passed before. Since I have a daughter living in Idaho I've passed Craters of the Moon on several occasions, but never stopped to explore the park. I'm pretty lucky following someone like you that is smart enough to explore the trails and be rewarded by a major show of natural splendor. Thanks so much!
Inching your way to 100,000 subs Nate. 👍 🙌 Awesome work. Absolutely fantastic surroundings that your videography captured Nate. ☆ Calendars coming? 😊 ( Would love to have one in my van here in New Zealand! )😊 That area was a rock collectors dream! To enlarge some of these scenes, to frame and to have hang in your home, would be amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. 💌 🙋🏼♀️ 🚐 🌏
I learned a lot here today. Thank you for an amazing video. I'm embarrassed to say I didn't know that area had any of that, miles of lava, craters and huge lava tubes. Thank you so much Nate.✌️
As soon as you said you were in Idaho I was going to comment that you should definitely try and go to Craters of the Moon 😂. So glad you did! I went last summer and it was phenomenal!! I didn’t go into any caves tho’ because I had been to Wind Cave in SD the month before, so no going from cave to cave because of bat virus 😢…. This is a really underrated National Monument in my opinion… it’s an amazing place…. If you ever go back there’s a good restaurant called Pickles Place in Arco and there’s a really good grocery store there too. Nate, I have to say how crazy good your videography and editing has gotten! I’ve followed you from your first year in the E, and it’s been such a pleasure to watch you grow your skills and have so many awesome adventures.. Wishing you both safe and happy travels!!
Re: Volcanic hotspots It is my understanding that the volcanic systems are connected to the mantle, very deep in the earth. As the upper crust moves very slowly over the hot spot, magma rises up through cracks and weak spots to form volcanoes. So, the crust is moving, but the hot spot is stationary deep below.
Love the way this channel has evolved. Tristan is just one of my most favorite people. I enjoy your trips, the views, the educational aspects of your location. But more so than anything you both have such a peaceful demeanor. Your videos are quiet and relaxing. You woke up to a beautiful view and are ending the day at even more beautiful location if that were possible. The craters and caves were great but that snowcone funnel on the desert was impressive. Thank you for taking us along.
Thanks so much for taking your viewers to this incredible place. WOW!

Wow. It's crazy to see such similar lava to that of the Big Island of Hawaii, but in such a different setting.
That's maybe 100 miles from my house and I still haven't been there. I've heard the skies are amazing at night when it's clear

Hands-down one of the nicest people on UA-cam. Incredibly the channel has seemed to flatten out. I don’t get it. Where are all the viewers??
what wireless mic do you use? I'm trying to figure out what will work for my channel, appreciate any advice you can give, thanks Danny
I generally just use the Rode Micro shotgun mic on my camera. I do have the Rode Wireless Go II, but don't use it often.
What drone do you use?
👍👍👍👍👍
