Did some of the salts stay in the paint after you had brushed it? I felt like I saw some in the texture of the end. Lovely effect. (And your accent is fantastic and soothing.)
@@charlied415 🥰thank you so much ❤ Yes, some salt crystals stayed
another impressive painting. 😊 thanks Ru.
🥰 My pleasure ❤️
Loved this one and I will definitely try it! :) I didn't know that salt can make such an effect when combined with ink. I work a lot with sand, and love textured art in general. You are such an inspiration and thank you for sharing your work with us all!
Thank you so much ❤
Happy it was helpful 🥰
As an abstract artist myself, I really enjoyed your tutorial and look forward to more exciting videos in the future.
Thank you ☺
Thank you so much! This was so inspiring to watch.
I discovered something fun when I sprinkled a spoonful of my custom texture paste powder onto puddling fluid paints that were in danger of becoming a mud puddle. The powder, made from marble, chalk powders, etc. instantly absorbed the watery fluid paints and hardened into a beautiful texture. This was especially nice when the paints had some metallic elements. Made a very interesting effect.
You are very welcome 💕
Wow, sounds mesmerizing 😍
that sounds so interesting! would you be willing to share your texture powder recipe? if not i totally understand! ❤
This is so cool! Such a great job, Indie! I’m anxious to give it a try. Fingers crossed!❤️
Stunning work n I had no idea ink can create the same effect with salt on canvas. Thankyou for sharing this wonderful work . Loved it ❤❤❤

You are so talented! Can you confirm that was water or rubbing alcohol? You put down first? And then what type of crumbling dry paste is that? Are those alcohol inks? I am so inspired! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you 🥰
I used tap water, salt, and acrylic ink
It is so beautiful ❤❤

Thank you. You can use watercolors instead

Are you painting on a bare canvas, and do you varnish?
I love your creativity!
Thank you 🥰❤
I always paint on a pre-primed canvas
I don’t varnish the finished paintings because I don’t have time for it
Is says you are using acrylic in the description but in the art supplier section it says black ink. Could you give the link to what you are actually using please? I have alot of ideas using this method. Great videos by the way :)
Thanks
It’s acrylic ink. I linked exactly what I used
@@IndieRu Thank you
Великолепно! Скажите, пожалуйста, чем посыпаете?

Pas encore. Ce sera pareil seulement en bleu 🙂
Was this done on a dry unpainted canvas and if so could you get these effects on a painted background that had dried?
Really lovely..
Thanks
Right, it was done on a dry unpainted canvas and yes, you can get this effect on a painted background that had dried
@@IndieRu Thank you so much..
Very impressive. In the description of materials you mention 3D fabric paint, I can’t see when you use it, would you be able to point it out please.
Thank you 💕

This beautiful!! What did you sprinkle on it?
Thanks 🥰
Salt
@@IndieRu I was trying to follow your patreon but it’s taking me to google Lens. Regular salt?
What is the most unusual tool or medium have you used to create a painting?
I have used a range of tools like;
Tree branches with ends cut at 45°, handle end of paint brushes, pop bottle lids, dried grass, parts of a Bush, crystals and much more.
@@dannycarrick3739 wow, sounds very unusual and inspiring
Por. Favor. Me. Dices. Que. Tinta. Y. Es. Esa , es. Alcohol el spray y. Lo q riegas. Pir. Encima que. Es? Graciad
@@valentinacampo235 Sorry I didn't understand your question

What powder you are pitting over the paint @ 1:35 ?
Salt
Olá Indi, gosto muito do seu qudro preto mas nao sei se a tinta preta é liquida ou pode se fazer com tinta de tubo e misturar com agua e se leva medio na tinta, se me pode dizer mais ou menos as quantidades.❤❤Obrigada
Thank you 🖤
I used acrylic ink.
You can try diluting acrylic paint with water.
@@IndieRu Obrigada ,mas não usou o medium juntamente com agua e tinta?
Um grande beijo.
@@marausilva881 No, I bought ready-made ink💋
Are you using alcohol ink?
No
I wanna learn from you. Step by step. How and how much is your course
Hi, thank you for your interest
It costs $5 per month
But it’s not really a course. These are the same videos as here (2 new videos each month) but with step-by-step explanations and tips.

Welcome 💕
did gesso the canvas?
No, I buy pre-primed canvases
Hi Indie, what is the small particle you put on the canvas? Is it salt?
Hi
Yes
Did you put a salt???
Yes
Water has an intelligence all its own.
What gorgeous pattern?
Very nice
Unfortunately beginners don't learn anything from these techniques.
For beginners I have payed content with detailed explanations
@@IndieRu
Payed is a rare word that’s only used in nautical/maritime contexts. It can be used to refer to the act of coating parts of a boat with waterproof material or to the act of letting out a rope or chain by slackening it.
Paid is the much more common word, used as the past tense of the verb “pay” in all other senses.
I did.
Most unusual? So far pretty boring. Kitchen sponges and pot scrubbers
Is this your technique?!
I don't think it's anyone's technique. I found out about it 15 years ago when I attended a Batik course - one of the oldest textile dyeing techniques.
I could give credit to my teacher but I doubt she invented it either.
@@IndieRu aha, aha..... Bullshit. The technique comes from me.
Beautiful
Thank you
