I saw there concert in my hometown Stockholm yesterday. It was the most beautiful thing I ever seen before. So cool concept with fireworks and good music and everything! If you like coldplay, you MUST see them live! Love /Swedish girl

I was in a student directed play this last February. This song played in the funeral scene of the main character who has commited suicide. I played his mother. I will never forget acting as if I was laying my son to rest. And everytime I hear this song, I can't help but think about it.
ok, I knew about this album before the Vampire Diaries, but honestly since I'm A VD fanatic, the scenes made me appreciate their music choice even more!
This song is clearly not suited to everyone, but I love it! I especially love the part around 2:22 where the guitar joins in. Something haunting about this tune that gives me goose bumps.
In today's world the is much music that if you knew all of them u'd find out it's all the same. As a musician, i've noticed that tons of popular/punk/rock/indie and etc. have the same chords, melodies also happen to be similiar, but what makes this song exeptional is the simplicity, great atmosphere, chris's awesome voice and nice lyrics, a great thing for their concerts.
How can you not hear the resemblence to (especially) parashutes! A piano and drums based beat, melancholi lyrics and his beautifull hurt falsetto! they definately changed (VLV!) but it's still the core mechanics that made them famous! and i love the unique songs they make, i think there isn't a bad that sounds like them and are that creative and talented! don't see them as sell outs because they definately didn't do what the record labels wanted them to do!

Just had a listen to Alter Bridge's "Before Tomorrow Comes" and can hear some resounding similarities but I think it's just a coincidence. And Alter Bridge don't have that little guitar bit at the end that for me, just makes the song.
if you listened to coldplay's old albums then youd know that these beats are all synthsized, and all the remnants of coldplay are completely gone.... theyve changed soo much and now i have nothing to listen to, if coldplay reverted back to something more like parachutes, or a rush of blood to thead, or even viva la vida... then id most definitely hear them again, and no, i would never complain about them sounding the same, if i wanted to hear some pop music then id put rhianna -_-

What a ridiculous thing to say. Maybe for someone it can be they`r best album, no? It certainly is the best concept behind the album they ever did in my opinion and I certainly like it more than "Parachutes".

@LookAtTheStars1996 Considering the amount of people that watch vampire diaries and the amount of coldplay (one of if no the most popular bands in the world) I think its a safe assumption that most of the people heard this is song without vampire diaries.
I don't know if people really understand how true this song is. Our goverment is messed up. Where just there toys and they treat, some of us like total garabage. Our world is made up of money and greed. If we don't change the system, we someday are all going to die because of our greed. Like the song, our meaning is burning. If the goverment says so, we trust them and go and do it. But sorry to tell most govermentss jusst want the money to rule he world and become one big "superpower". Burn us.
I want them to find a nice balance between pop and rock, like they did with x and y, which is their best album. Even this album has some high points, like major minus and moving to mars, but it is not very good ( Rihanna?)
