Great explanation of the various extensions in "Lone Kimono", with applications for real situations!! Thank you very much, Senior Professor Seatherton!! Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina!!
Yeah Prefix the grab with the push, Insert the pull after the grab before the second attack. That is formulation of the attack. Push Grab Pull. Most excellent. Stepping with the attack to a non toe heel line to feel the depth of action of the push and make the attacker put more weight on to their front leg than they wanted to. Purposeful compliance to a temporary zone of sanctuary so that the attacker has less mass to pull after the grab. We're rockin'! Step back naturally with the force of the push/grab. Pivot out to increase torque and get some of that line of attack to bleed off, {see stepping with the attack paragraph} then rotate hips with the uppercut and pin simultaneously. What I see is the Established Square Base of Action. Stance changes dominate that Square Base and manipulating your dimensional zones , while cancelling theirs is what is happening in this video. It is a pleasure to watch and listen to you Andy. Live long and prosper! lol Clark
