The King's Academy, a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence with a Top-5 Nationally-Ranked Fine Arts Program, recently performed the high school premiere of "Newsies" on its main stage in the Page Family Center for Performing Arts. Starring senior Kyle Martin (Jack Kelly), senior Chris Pappas (Crutchie), senior Clay Hider (Davey), and sophomore Olivia Cornett (Katherine Plumber), this musical is said to be one of TKA Theatre Co.'s best.
TKA’s Conservatory of the Arts, a two-time American High School Theatre Festival award-winning fine arts program, is led by Mr. David Snyder (Artistic Director, Musical Theater, Department Chair), Mr. Nathan Adams (Vocal Arts), Mrs. Cathy Higgins (Dance- Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz), Mr. Douglas Gawriljuk (Dance- Ballet and Modern), Miss Sarah Fahey (Theatre Arts), Mr. Brad Majzner (Stagecraft), Mr. David Skinner (Instrumental Director), Mr. Wes Lowe (Assistant Band Director), Mr. Patrick Clifford (Strings), Mrs. Macey Norton (Video/Digital Arts), Mrs. Lauren Moxey (Visual Art), Mrs. Stephanie Grasso (Elementary Choir, Woodwinds), and Mrs. Robin Phillips (Piano).

Jack's sarcasm was so good. And you can so tell Katherine is falling in love, she doesn't want to lose him.
So I’m watching newsies on Netflix and after I casually scroll through Instagram. Someone pointed out that the Santa Fe Jack painted for Medda’s backdrop during this scene has the same color pallet as Katherine’s costume during the first half of the second act... it’s because she’s becoming his Santa Fe 🤯

In our production our Les is a sophomore (and we do have talented eight year olds as ensemble newsies) and he’s taller than almost everything
A Fun and Friendly Name in our production les is a senior but it’s fine because she’s shorter than everybody

This scene is one of the best because Kyle is an awesome jack Kelly and also the same thing for Clayton hider, Olivia Cornett and mark miller not only that this song is a masterpiece thank you tka for putting this show production because it’s awesome and amazing

Actually I think the kid who played Les was in the 5th or 6th grade so he was about the same age as the kids who played Les on broadway
