The 4th down call was the right decision. You don’t win tightly contested games against superior competition kicking field goals. We needed a momentum swing to get us across the finish line. Just didn’t pan out.
Kliff and JD need to fix this. Its on them. Regarding the O-line... bad QB play makes an O-line look bad, its all relative. We saw this with Sam Howell last year.
If you'd said 7-4 at the start of the season I would have grabbed it. I'm loving this season and have great hopes for the future. Philly are a very good team it is what it is! They are better than us at the moment plain and simple. This mini bye will help to recharge and refresh.
@@aubrey44 What’s going on Aubrey. Long time. Maaaaan I hated seeing our QB look like that. NFL doing us dirty giving us a late bye then Pittsburg and Philly within 4 days of each other. The team held it together but the offense just had no push. SMH. Hope we can bounce back and Destroy Cowboys. If that game is close we need to worry.
@ what’s up Renji, been a while.. Yeah I don’t like how we trending right now and the late bye is killing us.... My thing is if Jayden is hurt, play Marriotta..
@@aubrey44 I agree. I don't wanna see RGIII v Seattle in the playoffs again. If Jayden is hurt just put in Mariota. I will give benefit of the doubt, maybe it was just exhaustion from Pittsburg then Philly defense back to back. We'll see.
@RefTheDistrict So do they or don't they Nathan? Your response reeks of adolescence and is an embarrassment to Washington fans. If we can't handle constructive criticism, we'll never improve.
@ I read that somewhere…maybe it was just post rib injury. I can’t post images here… According to NextGen Stats Washington is ranked 14th in pass block win rate. When defenses play 50 fronts with wide 9s and attack the mesh and run Match 4 on the back end, your OL can’t give 5 the time to process what he’s seeing.
This game shows yet again that O Line is so more important than most teams seem to realise. A good o line keeps the offense on the pitch, resting the D and scoring points...
They have lost 4th Q leads since the Bears game. They need to fix that issue. We played 2 really good teams especially their D. I knew they could lose both so im not panicking. Let's see how the next 2 games go.
@ I think we should. Hopefully we can Draft our own “Stingley Jr” or now Quinyon 🙄 to be our franchise CB. So sad we went from Deion, Smoot, Champ, D. Green in one CB room to this. :(
It seems like fans, DMV media and content creators have forgotten that the team is far ahead of schedule and where they were supposed to be at this point in the year based on projections before the season started. We’ve had a taste of success beyond measure and of course want the team to keep it up. Let’s slow down, there’s still 6 games left. We have a chance at the playoffs. How many people thought we would even be saying that?
Maybe it's that he has hit the WALL! He only played 13 games in college! It not just about Jayden trying to become a better QB, but not wanting to get him MORE injured aka RG3!! (his ribs are hurting more than he will admit) Playing Mariota is not bad!! We need him healthy for the FUTURE!! HTTR!!
This team is composed of Jayden Daniels and a slew of NFC East rejects. Dan Quinn chief among them. Why you wouldn’t kick a FG on 4th and 2 on the 25 yard line, down 2 points, blows my mind. Dan Quinn will be your down fall.
Jayden looked cold, had his hands in his pockets all the time. If he is hurt, why run a QB keeper right up the middle and have 3 eagles throw him to the ground with all their weight?
The first designed QB run felt like Kingsbury wanted the Eagles' defense to at least expect it. We were holding our breath when the third player came in to a stood up Daniels.
@@RefTheDistrict There is nothing up the middle, all 3 Eagle defenders stood him up and all 750+ pounds of them came crashing down on his ribs. Good idea Kliff? I think not. Don't ever call that play again. And yes Jayden is a warm climate QB
I'm reluctant to give up on Jayden, I've seen many that are. Perspective shows that we've lived with, and could (on another day) beat the Ravens, Steelers and Eagles. All this with an inferior roster and weapons. I'm sure we'll bounce back after this mini bye week and get on another run

Going for it was the right call but the actual play call by Kliff was not
B Rob is a great running back. The Washington offensive line is like the Giants offensive line.

As much as I trust JD as a passer, this team needs to run the ball.

KICK THE FG.. Period

They can't bear a team with a winning record...
Don't have to until the playoffs really.

Washington has a #14 offense right now…
In what metric?

I think jd5 is still hurt more than expected. Offense let us down o-line got belt to ass simple
All that praise we heaped upon the o line has been washed away after back to back awful games.
This game shows yet again that O Line is so more important than most teams seem to realise. A good o line keeps the offense on the pitch, resting the D and scoring points...
No matter how much the game changes, it's won in the trenches.
Amen

Plenty of season left.
Go go is Mike Sanrastil!! Going from elite slot CB into CB 1 and going 1 on 1 against AJ Brown...man I wish we put him on Pickens last week
Seeing him run the route with his head turned back locating the ball was special. It's why Nathan said to keep him outside.

no love for sainrstill? I thought he did an impressive job locking on to their primary receiver. he shut AJ down despite the size disadvantage.
He definitely played well!
Jalen Carter was terrorising JD all night, I thing the Eagles D disrupted them too much.

Andrew Wylie played terrible, needed help almost every play
Whole line was awful.
