Pretty cool some of solar stuff ! Nice little homestead your building & awesome view :)👍 I Run 100% on solar I have four 340w panels & 12 batteries 105 Ahs each & i run a 18 cube fridge & 7 cube freezer , Works awesome 8 months of the year As i add more batteries for storage it will be better :)

how much was the solor fridge ? asking because I have 4 different fridges I salvaged from campers and motorhomes. they all run on 12v or propane or 110. the work really well

I bought a couple years ago it was like 1699.$ from homedepot in Canada here. I just checked online they’re selling this one now for 1999.99$

You need to hookup fridge to the battery not the load

The load terminals on a charge controller power connected DC devices. The DC device must be compatible with the battery nominal voltage, and the battery bank capacity should be appropriately sized for the load. Loads can be many things from a DC refrigerator to a DC LED light. My fridge is compatible with 12/24v the battery is 12v, it’s working quite well. Why do you think I should connect straight to the battery. I like having it connected to the charge controller as it tells me how much power it’s consuming.
