If Jimmy was on the radio I would always stop and listen. A top man and a great example for others to follow. I miss listening to him.

Voted the best right back in the world after the 1962 World Cup. That’s something special considering Nilton Santos and Djalma Santos played for Brazil in that tournament. For my money Jimmy is the best right back England has ever produced and is one of the best the world has ever seen

Well that's Jimmy and he always called me Long Hair. When I Collected Autographs he was just so Awesome and what a great man and Player. From the great Blackpool Team and he was so great and Nice 👍. That was the great Jim. I always loved the time when Blackpool were coming to Stone. He was just a nice Gentleman. And he's still Missed. RIP Long Hair.
Wonderful -subscribed! I especially love what he said about Jimmy Greaves, his two footedness, his strength and his pace - in 1965 Jimmy G caught hepatitis, and said years later that he was never as quick again - he lost a yard of pace - so even though he remained a great player for the rest of the 60s, he was never quite as brilliant again.
