Hi Sanders325, thank you for taking the time to leave a positive comment. I completely understand where you are coming from as it took me a while as well. That is a nice pistol! I hope you have a great day
That's not a bad holster. Both of my shoulder holsters are leather, but if I were to go out into the woods or were gonna carry a pistol while hunting, this would be a great option.
Hi Dixie Whiskey, thanks for you comment and support of the channel! I completely agree this is a good option that you wouldn’t have to worry about as much as a nice leather holster
Also another good option is a belly band you use it inside the waist concealed or I can use it outside the waist obviously it gets so tight around you that you don't even feel it
For me, it's all about the concealment. IWB with PPK works well, on the right hip. Shouldder rig with PPK under a sweater (my usual top covering) works well, but trying to get the straps to not show can be an issue. With a big coat - like a Drizeabone - shouldder with Redhawk .44 conceals well.
The Chinese gave me one to review and I had to watch your video to see how you put these together. It wasn't the same holster but a good reference for thos pos they sent me. Thanks
Im getting this same holster. Dont like hip holsters. They tend to pull my pants down from the weight of the gun. And thats with wearing a belt. Im not worried about concealed carry. Here in Missouri we have constitutional carry.
I am glad you will be getting one! I have really enjoyed it, and it definitely feels more comfortable with the weight distributed on your shoulders. God bless Missouri :)
totally agree, exactly what I use edc, Black Hawk paddle holster is great, if you must waist carry, but my shoulder holster is the best comfort and active wear. I prefer non leather because they draw moisture to your gun.
Hi James, I think you are absolutely right! Since this video I have gotten better at using this holster by pulling it up. I really appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment and hope you have a great day. Thank you sir!
I was just wondering how to change a right hand shoulder holster (under right arm) to left hand shoulder holster (under left arm) if even possible. I have one of those cheaper nylon shoulder holsters with a pistol holster on one side and a dual mag pouch on the other.
Hi Rifleman, thank you for your comment and support of the channel. It may depend on the brand, however I also like my shoulder holster under the left arm. On the bulldog, there are two clips on either side that you can undo and then reattach to the other shoulder in the identical two clips. A lot of companies do this in order to facilitate buying more accessories without buying a whole new shoulder rig. I hope that helps and you have a great day!
I have this holster and I have a hard time getting it adjusted, If it's a little tight the belt straps keep pulling off and if its to loose the shoulder pads slide down my arm. I like the shoulder holster but it doesn't work for me.
I'm not understanding I bought one off of Amazon many years ago and I wanted anything that I had I had a 1911 at the time and one of you said that I'm going to the holster in fall right out I think it was made for Airsoft or some crap
My only concern is the fit of the pistol in the holster itself. I don't like to see the firearm sagging down inside it, as the retention is relying solely on the thumb break. I'm sure it fits other pistols better, but it's clear that they'd need to be significantly larger to fit more snuggly, and concealment would therefore be going further and further out the window.
Hi MahatmaGandalf, I completely agree. Thank you for the great observation. I think this is a great entry level shoulder holster, and I would upgrade to a more snug fit once you become comfortable. They tried to do a universal holster, which is hard to to. Thank you!
Thanks for your review. It’s a nice shoulder holster. I have a Ruger Mark IV 45/22 22lr pistol with a red dot on a raised mount (so I can revert to iron sights and look under the red dot). Will this holster accommodate the gun and red dot as mounted? Does it / can I create a “cut out” on the top length of the holster to allow my red dot to slide into the holster with my gun? Welcome comments by others appreciated.
Hi David, thank you for your comment. I apologize for the delay getting back to you. I was deployed the last two weeks. Your red dot should be fine as is with how low the retention strap can come down. If it doesn't fit though you could definitely modify the holster to allow for a sight channel on the top. I hope that helps and you have a great day!
Hi Kaeman, thank you for leaving a comment and supporting the channel. I do believe a recovery with a 4 inch barrel should fit well. This is a pretty big rig meant for full size pistols. The retaining strap is adjustable as well to accommodate larger or smaller frames. I hope that helps and you have a Happy New Years!
I now know why those leather ones cost so much, it’s just a strap and is super concealed... those straps you got on are super obvious that you have something in your jacket just by looking at your shoulders. Oh what’s that peeking out of both of your shoulders? See why I’m saying
Hi Gregorio, good points. Part of the problem with this set up is my body type and size as well. Even with an expensive sweet leather one, I would not be able to shoulder conceal a full size pistol like the one in the video. I am just too small of a guy. I would need a more concealable firearm. Thanks for your comment and support of the channel, and I hope you have a great day!
@@CoastieOutdoors get a holster with a claw and experiment more with 3-5 o clock as well. My dad is 5'5" and not super big and hides a Glock 21 this way.
Hi Matt, thanks for leaving a comment and supporting the channel. While there are definitely better holsters out there, I believe this is a case of "you get what you pay for". It is an inexpensive entry level holster for sure. What is your favorite holster you have used? I hope you have a great day
@@CoastieOutdoors I prefer the condor vertical shoulder holster if we’re talkin holsters with this material. The one in this video is too short. The straps that secure to your belt are about 6” too short for me so my gun just flops around. I’m not a tall man, I’m only 5’9” so unless it was designed for kids playing airsoft I don’t see why the straps are so short. My typical go to holster would be the bravo concealment iwb or owb belt slide for edc but the condor shoulder holster is very comfortable and plenty long enough for men of my height or taller even. That’s really my only complaint about this one is it just isn’t long enough.
Not going to lie how the hell did you become armed as a security guard I did security for four years two companies that I can get me armed never allowed me to get armed all of them said go get a gun and ammo and come back this is during the pandemic did that and they told me I couldn't get armed afterwards the fuck how the hell did you do that I don't do security anymore but interesting I don't conceal cuz I'm not really see the point
Hi Vince, thank you for taking time to leave a comment. I have heard several negative things about this holster and have actually stopped using it myself, but never that it was too small. What are you carrying that was too large for it, if you don't mind me asking?
Best part about a shoulder holster is you are still armed while shitting in a public restroom.
Because that's usually when the shit goes down.
Underrated consideration.
Thanks for the video. I've had my holster for about a year and didn't quite know how to adjust. Taurus G3 full size.
Hi Sanders325, thank you for taking the time to leave a positive comment. I completely understand where you are coming from as it took me a while as well. That is a nice pistol! I hope you have a great day
I’m having a bitch of a time trying to adjust mine too. I wish I could get the gun and mags up higher, but I think it is what it is.

Good review, thanks!
I just this one myself the other week ago and to be honest I have apparently been wearing it wrong with the strap in the front lolol
That is easy to do, no worries!
I'm wearing in now at work with my Taurus tx 22 lol
Hi BlackHeart Gaming, that is so awesome you are wearing one now! How does the Taurus fit?

It shouldn't be flopping around and hanging almost to your waist.
Tuck it up and it will be more comfortable and concealed better.

Hello! Nice review, do you reckon the holster can hold a Walther PPK comfortably?
Thank you Maniac Cop, I do believe it should hold a Walter PPK comfortably. Great firearm btw!

Hey im in Wisconsin. Any good outdoor ranges around the Kenosha area.
Southport Gun Club is in Kenosha ,
Hi Ali, I apologize for the delay getting back to you. I agree with Haile that Southport Gun Club is a good choice! I hope you have a great day
Looks like your gun is too low. Adjust the straps so the gun sits 2 inches below your armpit it won't move around and the belt straps are not needed
