I have loved Josh’s playing and style since I first saw him with the Vandals in the early 90s and then with Paul Westerburg. I’m glad the world finally knows who he is. He was always so underrated
Taylor would be right next to that drum kit, on the edge of the step, sat, legs apart, hands together, in his tank top vest, smiling; with nothing but admiration for his boys. I can see it now. 😢

There's a great video of him on tour with Sting where he breaks his snare drum. The drum tech replaces it whilst he's still playing and no one in the crowd would have even noticed. It's fucking smooth as fuck
Starting to build a relationship off stage it looks like. When they did the black and white unveiling gig he smashed it but there was a few icey moments. Think hes starting to gel as well now with the boys. Who are also coming across tighter than ever.chris and pat actually talk to each other now.
Just finished watching that too he’s a real cool guy man an can tell he doesn’t want to fill Taylor boots that’s not what it’s about.. it’s so bitter sweet.. I still can’t really listen to foo without thinking about Taylor broke my heart man
I’ve been playing drums for nigh on 20 years now.. and Freese has been my favorite drummer for almost as long. Is he wearing an “Employee of the Month” shirt? That’s a good bit.

Josh's skills are mad. Big shoes to fill being their drummer but his boots are big enough, the guys are so inspired by his energy, aww you gotta love this. Greeaat tune!
Josh is doing an EXCELLENT job!!! Some have complained he’s a bit too fast, but that’s Ok. He’s demonstrated he’s got what it takes. I’m sure he will be able to bring the speed up or down depending on the version they decide to play. ROCK ON FF 🤘😎🤘
I’m sure he was so super stoked to have been asked by a legend to join the band. So I’m sure he was a little charged up when he first got the gig and had to relax and slow it down a bit, but the guy is a drummer’s drummer.. i.e. the reason Dave asked him.
Most people saying he was rushing don't know how this works. There's a "click track" in his earbuds that he's using for the tempo. In fact, I think all if the members are hearing the click. It's usually up to the player if they want it in their mix.
The sonds sound better. I think dave knows that. Theyre accommodating his playing.they have already added a whole mod section to all my life. Theyre playing harder rock because of him. I think they like it.
