- Welcome back to another video! Today we go over the 992 C4S optioned with a factory aerokit, tons of bells and whistles and most importantly, a manual transmission. Even though it is a Porsche, at the end of the day there is a lot to be said about this car because its just not what we expected. Is it bad? No. Has Porsche lost their touch? A little. Watch till the end and give us YOUR opinion below!

The 992 is the best 911 ever made, hands down, no contest. You can drive it however you want and take it to whatever limit your skill allows. You said that it doesn't drive like a sports car....well, you weren't driving it like a sports car! You just drove it down some basic roads, no canyons, no cloverleafs, no freeways. I will tell you this, 98% of all people don't need more than a base Carrera AND the base can do 98% of what MOST people could ever need or want it to. Also, the 992.1 WILL be a collectors item in that it is one of if not the last ICE 911's and based on the 992.2's gauges, the last with any analog gauge. Having said all that, you kept complaining about its size, go ask Myles Garrett if he thinks the 911 is too big.... there are NO sports cars smaller than this, besides the Cayman. And, when I say smaller I mean weight. This thing sits between 3100 and 3200 lbs, meanwhile everything else, EVERYTHING ELSE is north of 3500 lbs and some nearing 4000 lbs! It seems that most are around 3800 lbs, that is a lot of pork!!! There is not a better sports car than this and now that Porsche has the 992 Carrera T, with the mechanical LSD, a manual and the rest of the S and GTS goodies, I don't think there is a better all around version, than the T!
Got the 992 GTS, and absolutely love it. A mix of 911 old style with modern touch. And the sound is so fun to listen to.

Very good review. You hit the nail on the spot. The 992 Carerra is a great car but with all the tech (especially PDK) the car feels as though it is driving YOU, not the other way around. I own a 2018 GT3 991.2 with a manual gearbox and let me assure you the difference and driver involvement between the two cars is truly night and day. The GT3 will move your soul EVERY time you get behind the wheel.

If you ask 5 people about the evolution of 911 3 out of 5 would want the new technologies just to keep up with modernization. Trust me Porsche spend quite a good amount on research and they know what their customers want. Yes a true sports car enthusiast like you will not want any change to the old ways how this car was made. But you have some good points. I know many people that own a 991 and 992, and they love their 992.

I agree. 911 got too big. It used to be fine rally car, now it just does not fit on the road.

It was a horrible choice I know...I've grown from this, but the 992 opinion still hasn't changed. In fact, I'd double down on my opinion and the fact that unless its a GT car, the 992 platform in its entirety is unappealing.

Only downside of the manual is the auto blip? The 2022 model allows you to turn off the auto blip on all modes now. Definitely a mistake, but that’s your only complaint?
No, as stated, I think its too big, the interior feels like it was designed by Black Berry, the steering is sharp but I personally don't like the weight, nor do I think its worth the price, especially in today's market where every dealer is marking prices higher due to shortages.

Dude you obviously don‘t even know tf you are talking about. 8:29 - PDCC and PASM are two very different things and both are masterpieces of engineering. You’re talking about how shit the car is for all its tech but can‘t even tell the diff… pathetic
You're absolutely right, that's why all my clients with 992s are selling them to go back to 997.2's and making money off of them.
