This video is on the Voctave channel because they did it as their introduction to the world. They got Kirstin and Jeremy to collaborate with them but Voctave is really the main feature of this video. Millions came to hear Kirsitn but were blown away and subscribed to Voctave.
@@BritPopsReact They made an outtake video of when Kate Lott came in during practice and she was so overwhelming that both Kirsten and Jeremy lost it and started laughing hysterically. Even when they had gotten 'used' to Kate's high notes, you could see them get right to the edge losing it still. Voctave is like a vocal freight train. It's like a string quartet trying to be heard above a full orchestra at full volume. This is where over the ear headphones beat the Buds. Trying to find your way through that onslaught of music you have to be able to hear themselves. All in all this was spectacular. The level of musicianship is extraordinary. Thanks for your reaction.
This was incredible. Kirstin makes a fabulous Disney princess. She also has Broadway chops having been in the cast of Kinky Boots some years back. But if you really want to see Kirstin shine you need to check out the PTX July 4th PBS edition of "Seasons of Love" from Rent. She hits the rafters!!!
I did discover VOCTAVE for myself through this video, being a Pentatonix fan as well. I was very fortunate to see Voctave perform live last week, and they are just as amazing live. Sadly, they didn’t perform this song, but they did perform the “Disney Princess Medley”, which is just as thrilling, and I highly recommend that you react to it!
I am a huge PTX fan, but you have to give Voctave their due. As you mentioned, the sheer number of voices lends itself to a huge sound wall and is so beautiful! Master Class in vocal arrangement, range, skill, and pure sonic joy!
I've heard that when practicing this prior to recording, both Kirstie and Jeremy about came unglued when Voctave came into the mix the 1st time! Couldn't blame them! 😂 💞
Oh Voctave is a fabulously talented group. They have so many wonderful medleys and each one is so stunning. You should watch their “Great Movie Medley”. That’s a fun one.
I absolutely love Voctave! Please do more of their music! Most, if not all the members are involved with Voices Of Liberty, who preform at EPCOT Disney World. Jamey Rae does all the arrangements.
For. Kirstin solo I always love - Somewhere over the Rainbow. It's a solo, not with PTX. But there ia also an audio for this song covered by PTX. Great arrangement
I agree. Voctave is under-appreciated. A much larger group & you would have to consider them a choir. And there is nothing wrong with say Choir Noir in the UK for example. But it does get to a traditional choir sound. Maybe you should react to Choir Noir sometime. I don't think you will be as impressed as Voctave. But they are quite good. Great reaction, Guys.
I think that was up there with my favourite reactions from you guys (the 90's Medley is my absolute favourite because your expressions are hilarious, closely followed by the Sugar Plum Fairy, because you were both Avi punched, Mitch slapped and kicked by Kevin multiple times, and it was gold 😄). Nice to see you both agree 100% about it, too. As for Kirsty being a perfect Disney Princess, you're not the first to say that, and probably won't be the last. It's nice that you got to hear her away from PTX, though with the backing she had here I'm not sure it really showcased her to be fair. Talk about powerhouse vocals! I've suggested a few Kirsty heavy songs from before, so I won't repeat myself, but seriously, you've barely scratched the surface with PTX. Well over 200 songs, many of them original too. There's plenty that shine on Kirsty, you just haven't got to them yet. And some of their best are just audios, so I'm guessing no good for the channel. Shame, really. This group though, two big thumbs up 👍 from me. 😁
@EnderOllie 4 For us, it's always nice to go away for a bit and then return as it's like discovering them again for the first time and we get that "wow" factor all over again. We will do more from Superfruit and also more from their Solo projects as and when we can fit them all in. We do have them down on our list for an "Artist Spotlight" week to come soon. As for our faces, yup they get us every time. Cheers for the comment and have a great day.
@@BritPopsReact can't wait for the Artist Spotlight on them! So many goodies for you to discover! I have a rec that I'm holding back on, and waiting for the right time to suggest it. If your jaws don't hit the floor at least three times I'll eat my proverbial hat. And that's all I'm saying for now 😁
Hi guys, I can’t believe I fell asleep last night, and you you uploading this new Voctave video. I love this video, and have watched it over and over. I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed it. Another brilliant upload thanks guys 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
There is a making of video for this. Kirstie and Jeremy each have an interesting reaction the first time they hear Kate (really high soprano) take to the rafters. 💖
I absolutely love Voctave. I also love your reactions. As new genre you could check out is barbershop. While it is mostly an American hobby, there also are a lot of other countries that participate. The 2017 International champions are from Sweden. They are Ringmasters. They were the best in the world in 2017. Their video of You’ll Never Walk Alone/Climb Every Mountain is quite spectacular!!!!!!! I wish you would check them out!!!!!!
@@BritPopsReact Voctave do tend to pull all the stops during a performance. Sometimes their backing vocals upstage their lead singer, which is mildly annoying, and GLORIOUS.
That was amazing! I loved hearing Kirsten singing a lead part. I haven't really been a Voctave fan mainly because their sound is more of a choir sound. I prefer the more intimate sound of PTX. But...I did like this one very much! Thanks guys for doing it!! I am going to be listening to more of their stuff now. I did enjoy their performance here. Thanks y'all for bringing this one out for us. Y'all are amazing!! I watch just about everything y'all put out there. I greatly appreciate all that y'all do to get these videos up and ready for us to see. Thanks!!!! Oh...if you want to hear a fantastic song that features Kirsten in PTX...react to her in LA LA Latch. She sings the lead in this one and it is absolutely beautiful. You will recognize the song...it's a Sam Smith song. Just amazing. Thanks again for everything you do for us viewers! Sending you love from Texas!!!
@Michelle Cooper Hello to you Michelle and thanks for joinging us all the way from Texas, we often forget just how far our videos actually go out to, so it's always lovely to hear where people are from, hard to mistake with your "Y'all" comments. 😄 We have noted down your Kirten request and will try and do more from Kirsten soon. Have a great day.
Thanks guys! If you’re wondering about the obvious chemistry between Kirstie and Jeremy, they were engaged at the time. 💔 A really hilarious clip of the rehearsal when Kirstie and Jeremy lose their minds at those amazing notes by the first soprano. ua-cam.com/video/rjZpz0EvnV8/v-deo.html For Kirstie taking lead on PTX tracks you might try Say Something, Rather Be, Shallow, Wizard of Ahhhs.
I can appreciate that there is some excellent harmonys going on in this video, all very nice but I have to be honest, not anything that I would normally listen to but no doubt great for others. Cheers.
I know react channels have to stop here and there and that's fine but you should go back like 10 seconds each time you do and try to let it just keep going when it gets to intense parts. Interrupting it really ruins it sometimes and i love seeing people's reactions to the emotional experiences of moments like that. I'm not complaining about you stopping it, I expect that. But you interrupted my favorite part of Kirstin singing I'll be in your heart. Anyway great reactions! And i hope to see more Voctave in the future! ❤❤❤
Absolutely fabulous. No words, and yes Kirsten is a great Disney princess voice. Loved it 😍
@Jacqui Blondel
Kirsten really does have a great voice and we will certainly follow up more from Kirsten and the others on their own solo projects.

Voctave is great, my favorite performance of theirs is definitely their Disney Princess Melody. Their Disney Showstoppers Medley is impressive too
Had the absolute same reaction... Last chord sounds exactly like an organ in a church. Imagine doing that with voice only.
Great genuine reaction! You guys are the best! Cheers!

Wonderful wall of sound from Voctave. I love how Tiffany sings with her whole being and with such joy. 😁 👍🙂👍
Voctave is incredible, PTX collaborated with Voctave on Once Upon A December, just an audio, also from a Disney movie, absolutely beautiful rendition.
If you're willing to enjoy a bit of drunken, funny and talented magic....try Superfruit (with Kirstin ) doing a Frozen Medley. It is hilarious.
@Hello, it's MK, your Neighbor
Thank you for the recommendation, we will add that to the list and try and get to it soon.
