My main issue was that Denzel and Pedro outshined the main character and the story didn’t make sense when did we find out the kid in the first movie was Maximus son cause I was so confused
@@JohnnyWalkerLA They totally threw that in there to connect the two films but I felt like it was so forced and rushed and prevented lucious to forge his own legacy as a character
I like Gladiator II. Went to see it with my dad and brother. A worthy successor to the first film, which is a rarity of a sequel. We're not wasting our health, energy and mentality like some lambasting this film!
I only wanted to see this for Joseph Quinn playing the emperor/emperors kid but I haven’t even seen the first film. Glad to hear his performance is great 😊
You should be too, honestly. Napolean Bonaparte is one of the most fascinating historical figures, like, ever.... And Ridley Scott has produced some of the greatest historical dramas, like, ever.... and somehow his movie about Napolean was a jumbled, meandering mess of a film that completely wasted it's potential by frankly ignoring all the interesting parts of Napolean in favor of bland marital squabbles. You really frankly should feel cheated by that film, you totally should have gotten so much better out of it.
@@paigecrossland4289 I will never get over what Ridley Scott did to that movie 😂😂😂😂😂 making me watch this mf whine over Josephine for 2 hours with only 15-20 mins of cool battles 🤬🤬🤬 Im still pissed
I think ima just wait for this to hit streaming good video tho🔥💯
Don’t it’s terrible
@@DeauntesSpot Honestly don’t even watch on streaming, just watch the first one 😂😂😂 much better use of your time

They dishonored Maximum's memory he had a son Lucius's age and he was to loyal to his wive to cheat.
@ agreed y I thought it made no sense…he was way to invested into his family in the first movie

@@paigecrossland4289 I though Joseph Quinn was amazing!!! Dude never dissapoints when he’s on screen imo
Completely agree, very average, waste of probably absolutely incredible amount of money.
So disappointing!!!!
@@olenamerkulova9335 Yea to spend so much money on a flop like this is so concerning.
I’m not watching anything with Denzel Washington after what victims revealed what he’s been doing to kids at Diddy parties
It really was terrible
