Thanks for all of the positive comments and interaction! We truly had a blast taking both of these epic cars to Putnam Park Road Course. Thanks again to the owner of both cars and Putnam Park for the opportunity. We have more special projects upcoming for the channel... stay tuned!
Driven both, both incredible machines. The STO feels like a 10-year-newer Speciale in every way (which it is). STO is much sharper on track-tighter suspension and more precise steering. However, the Ferrari front end has a magical feel, prefer the sound, rear end does step out a little but well controlled, and has better suspension tuning (and luggage space) for road use. I’d take STO on track, Speciale on road.
I think the opinions are bang on. I have toured around Europe all year in my sto and my tour buddy in his speciale. Both cars are brilliant but once the grip levels fall, the speciale begins to suffer dynamically where the Sto just keeps going. For me two of the best cars ever.
@radicaljohn1 lol these cars aren’t even from the same generation….compare the STO to the Pista from the same period and watch the STO get shredded in any performance measure
@@jimsteinway695 You don't have to play any games to buy the Ferrari 458 Speciale off the used car market either. Besides, who wants to buy an Audi with a different bodykit over a Ferrari? Only a nutcase or someone who knows nothing about cars would do that.
@ if I’m buying a car like that I’m buying it from the dealer. Sure you can buy most of those cars out of network. But I wouldn’t. I’ve driven the 458 many times. The Huracan Technica is much better and more modern. More power . Handles better with rear wheel steering. I can say a Ferrari is a fiat 500 with a body kit. Don’t be stupid. The Lamborghini was designed by Lamborghini. Audi decided to use the de tuned v10 for their car that’s fine, but don’t be stupid. Theyre both owned by the VW group big deal. Ferrari is owned by fiat. And believe me I’m a scientist and I do my research. I guarantee I’m smarter than you and I know more about these cars than you do. Like for instance the Huracan is the most reliable supercar in this segment.
Of course the 458 Speciale is a bit tail happy when exiting a corner, that's the whole point of a RWD supercar!!! To have the back end slide around so the driver can have more fun with powersliding. Ferrari is a real driver's car. lambo can get back to farming the corn fields lol.
Speciale all day everyday. Nice work with the video!

This needs more attention
Amazing video and project

Ferrari ❤❤❤
Great video at my local track. I’ve driven a standard 458 on track and I had to catch the rear stepping out once
Speciale also feels a lot larger for some reason. RWS makes a big difference as well.
Thanks!

Compare the STO to its Ferrari competitor from the same generation the Pista and see how badly it gets embarrassed.
@@caribbeanseas Hey guy,the pista is turbo charged hence the reason for the comparison.
@@radicaljohn1he’s not smart enough to know the difference.
you re competing with your self cringe mate@@caribbeanseas
Its pretty cool a C8 Z06 was there too.
Dan the pro driver looks like he could be nico hulkenberg cousin
Love
458 Speciale.
Speciale all day
You don’t have to p,ay any games like buying a Roma first to buy a Lamborghini
@ yeah because the demand isn't the same.

@ haha, do you work for VW? What a pathetic reply 😂👍
Atleast the ferrari is pretier and sound better and most imported rwd. And very fun to dance it around
It WAS prettier until the Technica came along. An STO without all the aero. The Technica is prettier than most Ferraris these days
@jimsteinway695 it is a personal taste, but sto is looking awesome compared to technica
Yeah the STO is rear drive only. Try again.
STO is a rwd😁😁😁😁😁

Ferrari is real Italian; Lamborghini is a German larping as Italian. lolol.
Driver seemed bored and uninterested... made the video a snore tbh.
now I’m confused after watching misha’s video about how bad the STO is on Nurburgring.
Same here.
@@henrylsh7211 I don't think the STO is that bad, it's just that the car is not that great.
STO..
Lamborghini ❤
Ferrari🇮🇹 vs audi🇩🇪
Fiat vs Audi😂😂😂😂
I’m a Huracan Technica owner. We wouldn’t have any carbon fiber if it wasn’t for Herachio Pagani
